SOLE presents the ‘Solemate’s menu, a menu of carefully crafted delights that will be sure to sweep you and your partner off your feet. Each dish is meticulously prepared to create a symphony of seafood flavours – ensuring a Valentine’s dining experience you won’t forget. For €95 per person, it has been specially crafted to bring you and your special someone on a romantic journey from sea-to-SOLE. This menu is available from Monday 12th – Sunday 18th February 2024.

Savour the fine flavours of the sea with SOLE’s four course Solemate’s menu. Starting off with Champagne poached David Keane Connemara oysters, shallot purée and Da Vinci Caviar, you are immediately introduced to seafood at it’s finest. Then moving on to Scallops & Foie Gras, served before the mouthwatering main course of Irish Lobster served alongside sweet potato fries and creamed spinach. To finish with something sweet, enjoy a Cherry Clafoutis, Cocoa Atelier chocolate & chilli sauce, custard ice cream. You can enquire with your server on the day for accompanying exquisitely matched champagne pairings.

Located in the heart of Dublin City, SOLE is renowned for both its ocean-fresh fish and Peter Hannan steaks. It’s focus on “sea-to-SOLE” fare, executed with extreme style by its culinary team led by Head Chef, Oscar Mingyi Chen, under the guidance of Culinary Director Richie Wilson. Oscar started as a part-time chef at sister restaurant FIRE Steakhouse & Bar in 2013. Throughout the years Oscar’s hard work and dedication has allowed him to progress to the role of Sous Chef at FIRE and in 2019 he was promoted to Head Chef of SOLE Seafood & Grill. Partnering with Irish award-winning suppliers, David Keane Connemara Oysters, Kish Fish and Peter Hannan who supplies the beef for the restaurant.

The Sweetheart Cocktail is also available at SOLE throughout February. Carefully concocted by Bar Manager Karlo, the Sweetheart Cocktail is a mix of Disaronno, Chambord, raspberry purée, lemon juice and aquafaba, garnished with a heart marshmallow – the perfect after dinner treat!
