The Oyster Festival at The Purty Kitchen is a special weekend celebration of oysters, taking place over the June Bank Holiday from Friday, May 29th to Sunday, May 31st. Set in the beautiful open-air space of The Courtyard at The Purty Kitchen in Dún Laoghaire, the oyster bar will run daily from 3 pm.

Guests can look forward to freshly shucked oysters served three ways with a classic shallot mignonette, a bold Bloody Mary dressing made with istil Vodka, and a refreshing dulse granita with Dingle Gin. An oyster starter will also feature on the evening menu for those who wish to enjoy oysters as part of their meal.

All oysters will be sourced from George’s Fish Shop in Monkstown, the long-standing seafood supplier for The Purty Kitchen. Oysters will be priced at €11 for a trio, €20 for half a dozen and €36 for a dozen beautifully dressed oysters.

To complement the oysters, a specially curated selection of drinks will be on offer, including a Frosted istil Dirty Martini with istil 38 Pot Still Vodka, Dry Vermouth and olive brine, or the refreshing istil Pink Spritz, made with istil Pink Berry Vodka, Prosecco, soda, mint and lemon.

This unique pop-up promises a relaxed, summery celebration of Irish seafood and premium Irish spirits in one of Dublin’s most inviting outdoor spaces.
