The Johnstown Estate in Enfield, Co Meath, took home three prestigious accolades at the 2024 Irish Hotel Awards which took place at the hotel’s newly-launched conference centre, The Forde Suites, on Tuesday, 22nd October.
The glittering event saw over 400 of the best and brightest professionals from Ireland’s hospitality industry gather in the elegant surrounds of The Forde Suites to enjoy a gala celebration, including a five-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Tommy Butler and his team.
The Johnstown Estate proved the winner in three categories including: Four-Star Luxury Hotel of the Year 2024; Hotel Bar of the Year 2024 for Parterre, The Johnstown Estate’s lush garden terrace cocktail bar which opened earlier this year; and Fine Dining Experience Of The Year (Leinster) for its fine dining restaurant, Fire & Salt.
The Irish Hotel Awards are recognised as a benchmark of success in the hospitality industry in Ireland with winners determined after a rigorous judging process where researchers carry out a detailed assessment of the guest experience in the relevant category.
Guy Thompson, General Manager at The Johnstown Estate, is delighted with the recognition, saying, “To win three awards in such a prestigious awards programme is incredible, and even more so when it’s announced on home turf! I’d like to thank our fantastic team at the hotel as these honours reflect the collaborative spirit and dedication of everyone who works here.”
