As Dublin settles into a balmy summer season, Suesey Street Restaurant, Bar & Terrace is launching a fresh series of seasonal experiences designed to make evenings in the city feel that little more special. Think stunning cocktails, long relaxed evenings on the garden terrace, live music and laid back dining by the banks of the grand canal.
Kicking off on the June bank holiday weekend right through to September, the Summer at Suesey Street Series brings together the launch of a brand new cocktail menu, wine paired with cheese & charcuterie boards on the garden terrace, live jazz once a month, €5 Friday corkage and indulgent sharing plates, all designed with a leisurely dining experience in mind.
“Our evenings have always had a lovely energy during the summer months,” says John Healy, General manager at Suesey Street. “This year we wanted to build on that and create more reasons for people to drop in, stay longer and enjoy the space in a more relaxed way.
Did someone say cocktails?
Launching just in time for summer, Suesey Street’s new cocktail menu is packed with exquisite, playful drinks. Guests can expect elevated classics with top shelf spirits served to perfection, seasonal signatures and lighter summer serves designed for long evenings outdoors.
Suesey Street is also taking part in Dublin Cocktail Week which is running from June 5th – 14th, festival ticket holders can enjoy two specially created cocktails at Suesey Street for €10 each. Cocktails on offer include the Ginger & Grain, a fresh seasonal Hi Ball made with Roe & Co special blend whiskey, and The Golden Hour, an alcohol free mocktail with warm spiced rum flavours, both designed exclusively for the festival.
Evenings on The Garden Terrace | Monday to Saturday from 5:30pm
Now that we have summer firmly on your mind, the Garden Terrace at Suesey Street is the place to be. If it’s just drinks you’re after, pop in for a casual after work sip and enjoy a relaxed get together throughout the week. Try a delectable new cocktail or a cool glass of bubbly alongside some tasty light bites, with cheese boards, charcuterie, and sharing plates on the menu. The best part – there’s no need to book, walk-ins welcome.
€5 Corkage Fridays & Live Jazz
Wine lovers can now enjoy €5 corkage on Friday evenings throughout the summer, giving guests the perfect excuse to gather friends, open a favourite bottle and settle into a fantastic evening. Live jazz musicians Stella Bass and Charlie Moon will also perform monthly across the season, bringing a lively soundtrack to dinner and drinks throughout the restaurant and garden terrace. The first jazz night of the season kicks off this Friday, May 29th with Stella Bass.
Summer at Suesey Street officially begins on May 29th and runs throughout the season until September.
