Speaking about the Sing For Simon launch, Dublin Simon Community Director of Fundraising and Communications Emma Kilkenny said:

“Winter is undoubtedly the most challenging time for those vulnerable in our society, and we are counting on the public’s generosity this festive season to support those who need it most. Sing for Simon is set to be an inspiring and heartfelt evening with the RTÉ Orchestra. It’s a chance to gather together as a community, enjoy the talents of those involved, and make a real difference.”

The importance of Dublin Simon Community’s work is further emphasised by Gay Mooney, a long-time volunteer:

“I’ve seen firsthand how life-changing the support can be for individuals and families facing homelessness. This concert is not just about raising funds; it’s about raising hope and bringing people together during a time when compassion is needed most.”
