The wait is officially over. Popeyes®, the iconic New Orleans-born chicken brand behind the internet-breaking Chicken Sandwich, has confirmed it will open the doors of its first-ever Irish restaurant at Blanchardstown Centre at 10am on Saturday, 6th June. The inaugural restaurant will be located in The Green Mall and will create over 80 new jobs for the local area.
And just when we thought the news couldn’t get tastier, Popeyes has today confirmed a second Dublin venue, with a new restaurant in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre opening in the coming weeks.
To celebrate its milestone arrival in Blanchardstown, Popeyes® will treat early fans in the queue with a series of unmissable opening-day giveaways. *The first three customers through the door will enjoy free Chicken Sandwiches for life! **The first 100 in the queue will enjoy a free Chicken Sandwich and ***the first 50 customers will be rewarded withexclusive Popeyes® merch. The opening marks Popeyes® long-awaited debut in Ireland, bringing its bold New Orleans flavours, warm Southern hospitality and world-famous ‘Shatter Crunch’ chicken to a brand-new audience. Known globally for its viral Chicken Sandwich. Popeyes® will bring favourites including Hot Wings, Tenders, Signature Chicken Wraps, classic Biscuits with Cajun Gravy, hand-spun shakes and a 100% plant-based vegan sandwich to Dublin. AllPopeyes® chicken is marinated for 12 hours in its signature blend of bold Louisiana seasoning before being hand-breaded and hand-battered on site to create the unmistakable Popeyes® Shatter Crunch.
From Sunday 7th June, the restaurant will serve its iconic breakfast menu from 8:00am until 10.30am Monday to Sunday which features a delicious selection of sweet and savoury treats with the signature Popeyes® southern taste of New Orleans. The Big Cajun Wrap, Big Breakfast Wrap and Cajun Hash Browns sit alongside the Popeyes® Chicken Breakfast Patty, Egg and Bacon Muffins, and southern style Biscuit with Nutella or Honey plus a selection of hot drinks.

The new restaurant, located at The Green Mall, Unit 101/102 The Blanchardstown Centre Blanchardstown Dublin 15 D15 AN25, will feature 52 seats indoors and 24 outdoors, self-service kiosks, and collection points for orders made online via thePopeyes® website. Doors open at 10am!
