Changing Times Brewery, the independent brewery based in Glasnevin founded by the families behind some of Dublin’s best known pubs, are freezing their prices again for 2026, saying “they can see no justification for a price rise”.
This is the second year in a row the brewery has frozen their prices. It means that any venue stocking a Changing Times beer will face the same costs now as they will throughout the course of 2026. Currently the brewery is offering four beers, all on draft – Clockwork Velvet Stout, Daydreamer Lager, After Hours Pale Ale and Bleedin Red Ale. They also expect to launch additional beers in the coming months.
Speaking about their decision to freeze prices, Chairman of Changing Times, Patrick J. Rigney said, “We want to reassure our customers and the pubs that are stocking our beers that we have no intention of raising our prices this year. Absolutely none. The price of our kegs will be the same next December as they are right now. This is something that we hope will provide some certainty to customers, to the pubs we work with, as well as those who are planning to begin selling our beers in the coming months.
“As far as we are concerned there is no justification for a price rise. The costs of production aren’t going up to the extent that an increase in how much we charge is warranted. If there are any cost increases then we’re prepared to absorb that cost this year. We believe our customers should come first. We believe in supporting and valuing our customers and any pubs we work with. We hope taking a considered view on pricing represents the type of “change” that people will see as being as refreshing as our delicious beers,” Mr. Rigney concluded.
