May 2022: Dublin’s newest hot spot, The Bar on St. Stephen’s Green, hosted an exclusive launch party, attended by a host of media and influencers.
Guests were welcomed to the swish new bar with a ‘black’ carpet ‘Expresso Bar-Tinis’ reception and danced the night away to acclaimed Irish band RadioShack.
The Bar serves a range of delicious modern favourites and traditional classics with small and large plates for all tastebuds, from Guinness & Beef Stew to Beer Battered Fish & Chips, steaks, burgers and superfood salads. It’s worth a visit just for Guinness chocolate mousse alone! The venue also has an enticing menu of cocktails and spirits.
Boasting 18 screens, 250 seats and cosy booths, it’s an ideal venue to watch sport. The Bar will also have live music every Friday and Saturday night, followed by a DJ, perfect for a VIP event, group night out, or after-work drinks. And it has a central location opposite the St Stephen’s Green Luas stop.
The fun new bar, which was previously TGI Fridays, was opened by the same owners as the popular Slattery’s Pub on Capel Street. It underwent extensive renovations over the past six months and the result is a contemporary venue with modern paintings and Guinness themed murals by Dublin artist Creative Dave, along with vibrant photo ops for those all-important insta moments. One photo op everyone had fun with at the launch party was the Stoutie machine, which lets you put your own selfie on the head of a pint of Guinness – a sure way to make it a ‘pint’ to remember.
