The iconic drink lands in Taco Bell Ireland restaurants from 11 July 2026
July 2026– The wait is over. After years of fan requests, online campaigns, and social media speculation, one of Taco Bell’s most iconic products is finally crossing the Atlantic. MOUNTAIN DEW BAJA BLAST® ZERO SUGAR, the legendary drink that has built a cult following across the US and beyond, is officially launching in Ireland for the very first time, exclusively at Taco Bell from 11 July 2026.
For years, Irish fans have watched from afar as Baja Blast™ became one of the internet’s most talked-about drinks. MOUNTAIN DEW BAJA BLAST® ZERO SUGAR combines the exhilarating taste of Mountain Dew® with a blast of tropical lime flavour, creating a refreshingly bold drink that has become synonymous with Taco Bell for millions of fans. The drink has generated thousands of social media posts, online discussions and requests for an Irish launch.
That demand has continued to grow, with Google Trends* data revealing Irish search interest for Baja Blast™ has never been higher since Taco Bell opened in Ireland last year. Now, the cult favourite is finally making its way across the pond.
Known for its loyal fanbase, Baja Blast™ has become one of Taco Bell’s most iconic menu items in the US. Its arrival in Ireland marks a major milestone for fans who have spent years campaigning to bring the drink to Irish shores.
Taco Bell is marking the long-awaited arrival of Baja Blast™ to Irish shores with an airport-themed pop-up at Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. Running on 11th and 12th July 2026, the installation takes guests on a fully immersive journey – checking in at the desk to collect a limited-edition boarding pass, clearing “Baja Blast™ security”, and arriving at the luggage conveyor belt to claim a free Baja Blast™ sample. Free samples of Baja Blast™ will also be available to the first 100 customers on 11th and 12th July 2026, across all three participating Applegreen Taco Bell restaurants.
