Luttrellstown Castle invites guests to step into a world of timeless indulgence with the launch of its House of Guinness Festive Afternoon Tea.
Set within the grandeur of the castle’s historic Van Stry ballroom, this exclusive experience reimagines the classic afternoon tea through the rich and velvety lens of Guinness.
Guests will savour a beautifully curated selection of sweet and savoury creations designed by Luttrellstown’s culinary team, delicately infused with notes of the iconic stout. The menu will include sandwiches of Guinness smoked salmon, pickled fennel, lemon and dill mayonnaise on homemade soda bread and Coronation Chicken with saffron mayonnaise and redcurrant crumbles on homemade Guinness Bread. Indulge in a Christmas Tree with black cherry, cocoa sponge and Madagascar vanilla cream and a Raspberry and Lemon Cremeux with raspberry mousse, lemon custard and white chocolate sponge.
Pair your afternoon tea with a specially designed cocktail menu which will include Black Velvet (Guinness and Champagne), Guinness Espresso Martini (Espresso, Vanilla Vodka, Kahlua and Guinness), Guinness Old Fashioned (Bourbon and Guinness Reduction Syrup) and The Connoisseur’s Reserve (Guinness Float with Crème de Cacao, Kahlua, Espresso, Vanilla Vodka and Guinness).
Afternoon Tea, with a wide selection of teas and coffee is €70pp, Champagne Afternoon Tea is €85pp, Children’s Afternoon Tea is €30pp and cocktails are €21.50 each.
