Its Spring Afternoon Tea is available to book from March 25th, for two weeks, and an irresistible classic Easter Sunday Brunch menu will be served on March 31st.

Spring Afternoon Tea is a lovely way to wile away  a few hours in the Lobby Lounge and includes an array of delicious savoury and sweet treats by the Hotel’s Pastry Chef, Orna Larkin. Served in classically elegant surroundings, live piano music completes the setting.  A selection of finger sandwiches is followed by freshly-baked buttermilk scones with clotted cream and preserves, pastries and decadent desserts that include Almond Battenberg; Rhubarb and Custard Mille Feuille as well as Limoncello Trifle.  A large selection of fresh coffees and loose-leaf teas complement the indulgent afternoon repast.

Costing €62.00 per person, Spring Afternoon Tea can be enhanced with a cocktail of choice, or with a glass of Perrier-Jouët Champagne, for €77.00 per person.

Easter Sunday Brunch on March 31st offers favourite family classics and exciting contemporary dishes, prepared by executive chef Alberto Rossi.  Advance booking is advised, online or on 01 665 4000.  Served in Seasons Restaurant, with 1.00pm to 3:30pm sittings, the new seasonal menu includes refreshing starters including Parma Ham Eggs Benedict, Chicken and Fluffy Waffles, Fritto Misto with Squid and Prawns, Pea Velouté or dressed Irish Smoked Salmon.

For mains the menu has Roasted Saddle of Blackstairs Mountain Lamb with Apricot Stuffing; Pan Fried Atlantic Cod accompanied by Pea Pureé, Spring Onion, Baby Turnip, Chorizo and Orange Sauce, and Roasted Striploin of Beef with classic Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding, Glazed Carrots, and a Wine Jus.

Lighter favourites and vegetarian options include Spaghetti alla Carbonara, or Roasted Cauliflower and Butternut Squash, with Pine Nuts and Yoghurt and Lime Dressing.

An Easter Egg Hunt for children at 2.30pm on Easter Sunday, in the hotel grounds, means the adults can indulge in a sumptuous dessert menu.  The selection includesDulche de Leche Flan, Tonka, Pineapple and Passionfruit Éclair, Rhubarb and Custard Frangipane Tart, or a beautifully presented Honey, Yoghurt and Lemon Entremet.

The three-course set menu for Easter Sunday Brunch is priced at €68.00 per person.

Stunning ‘sweet’ seasonal decorations created by pastry chef Orna Larkin and her team and floral centrepieces throughout the hotel set the scene for a special Easter visit at the luxury Ballsbridge property.
