FIRE Steakhouse & Bar presents a limited-edition whiskey-infused steak in honour of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic taking place this weekend. Whether you’re preparing to watch the game in town or getting into the end zone on game day at the Aviva Stadium, FIRE Steakhouse & Bar is the perfect place to celebrate this exciting annual event.

Enjoy this year’s Aer Lingus College Football Classic with FIRE Steakhouse & Bar’s limited-edition Whiskey Infused Steak. This innovative & exciting dish was created by FIRE’s Head Chef Ciaran Furlong. The rich and smooth Dublin’s Own Whiskey is perfectly complimented by the juicy & flavourful steak, resulting in each bite being tender and melt-in-the-mouth. A match made in food heaven.

This succulent steak is a 10oz Dry-aged Irish Hereford Prime Sirloin that is glazed with balsamic whiskey and then finished in FIRE’s dry-ager to maximise the distinct and delicious whiskey flavours. This whiskey infused steak is enhanced by the accompanying sides, including exquisite Heirloom Tomato & Smoked Ardsallagh Goats Cheese Salad, Blackberry Balsamic Pearls and local New Season Irish Potatoes with Parsley Butter.
Head Chef Ciaran worked closely with Irish Suppliers to deliver quality Irish produce and amplify this already incredible meal with local delicacies. The Smoked Ardsallagh Goats Cheese hails from East Cork and is handmade by the Murphy family using traditional techniques. The Blackberry Balsamic Pearls are created using Burren Balsamic, a family-owned balsamic company situated in Co. Armagh.

FIRE has chosen Dublin’s Own Whiskey as their Whiskey of choice as the local distillery embodies the Irish spirit and their balanced whiskey perfectly compliments the Irish Hereford Prime Sirloin. FIRE Steakhouse & Bar champions the very best of local Irish ingredients across their full menus.

The limited edition steak served with three delicious sides and a whiskey pepper sauce is €46pp. FIRE recommends pairing this dish with their Baron de Brane, Chateau Brane-Cantenac, Margaux 2018 wine, which retails for €30 per glass and €115 per bottle. This dish will be on the menu for a limited time only so we recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment.
