Manifesto Restaurant in Dublin is the only Irish restaurant to be named among the best pizza restaurants in Europe at the Top 50 Pizza Awards.
Manifesto Restaurant was listed 35th in the highly competitive Top 50 Pizza Awards for their fresh, authentic pizzas. According to Top 50 Pizza organisers the award criteria is a combination of not only the pizza but also the customer service, ambiance of the restaurant and wine list.
Owner and chef Lucio Paduano said “To be listed among the top 50 pizzeria’s in Europe is a huge honour for us. At Manifesto we work so hard, using premium ingredients in all our pizzas and being Italian, authenticity is at the heart of everything we do. This listing, recognises our hard work and effort and myself and the whole team are extremely grateful.”
The selection of winners is based on an initial survey carried out by over 150 inspectors for the awards, then followed by an anonymous visit and a further declaration following the review.
The global title further highlights the pizzas at Manifesto as some of the best in the world and Ireland, having previously been a Gold Medal winner for World’s Best Pizza (2006, 2010) and Ireland’s Best Pizza (2011) at the World Pizza Championships.

About Head Chef Lucio Paduano:
Owner and head chef Lucio Paduano hails from Southern Italy and proudly comes from three generations of Italian pizza chefs since 1929.
Lucio moved to Ireland in 2003 when he married his wife Edel, and opened Manifesto in 2009 with the aim of carrying on his family legacy and bringing authentic Italian food to Ireland.
