Suesey Street, one of Dublin’s best-loved restaurants celebrates its 10th Birthday this October with a month-long culinary celebration. To mark the occasion, the Fitzwilliam Place favourite is celebrating with a specially curated 10th Birthday Menu, bringing back 10 of the most loved dishes from the past decade recreated by Head Chef, Dino Savić, alongside a one-of-a-kind 10th Birthday Signature Cocktail created for the celebration.
The 10th Birthday Menu is a nostalgic nod to the dishes that defined Suesey Street’s journey, chosen for their popularity by both diners and the team. Each plate showcases the flavours, creativity, and hospitality that have made Suesey Street a standout in Dublin’s dining scene and some of the dishes include – Roast Turbot with Braised Chard, Lemon Potato, North Sea Shrimp and a Beurre Blanc Sauce, Pan seared North Atlantic Scallops with Cucumber, Cauliflower, Borage Leaf, Red Chilli and a Yuzu Puree and a Duck Terrine with Apple, Porcini Mushrooms, Spaghetti Squash, Foraged Mint Flower and a Duck Jus.
To toast the milestone, guests can also raise a glass and sip on the 10th Birthday Signature Gin & Berry Sour Cocktail, a playful, elegant creation designed especially for the celebration which will be available exclusively throughout October.
The family run restaurant has built a reputation for relaxed fine dining, elegant hospitality, and a deep commitment to showcasing Ireland’s finest seasonal produce all the while supporting local suppliers and other small family businesses around the country. The team at Suesey Street also has an impressive collective number of years of service – the current team of 22 employees share a collective 80 years of service! The longest standing member of the team is Restaurant Manager, John Healy who has been with Suesey Street since day one.

They also own and run Glandore (flexible office space solutions located in Dublin, Cork and Belfast that launched in 2001), No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place, a private wedding and events venue and Sister Suesey, a much-loved coffee kiosk at Leeson Street Bridge.
A Brief History of Suesey Street 2015-2025
- Suesey Street is situated on the site of the former staff canteen of the Bank of Ireland which was located at Fitzwilliam Hall where Michael Kelly first opened Glandore in 2005. The canteen operated privately until 2006.
- Brasserie Le Pont opened at the former canteen site in 2011, and it is at this stage that an early version Suesey Street was born.
- In 2015, Suesey Street, a contemporary Irish restaurant, opens and is named after the original name for Leeson Street
- Well renowned restaurant manager and presenter of The Restaurant John Healy, joins Suesey Street in 2015 to lead a fantastic team and remains with the restaurant for the next ten years.
- In 2019, The Garden Terrace opened at Suesey Street, expanding the restaurant’s offering to include a heated, fully covered terrace for private gatherings
- In 2019, Group General Manager of Suesey Street and No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place Mark Dunne joined the team as events manager and in 2024 was promoted to Group GM.
