14th December 2020: ‘Tis the season for giving! With that in mind, Deliveroo has announced its Christmas Freebie Campaign. Some of the nation’s favourite restaurants will be giving away freebies exclusively with orders placed on Deliveroo. This comes as Deliveroo reveals that searches for ‘Christmas’ and ‘festive’ on the app have increased by 198% when compared with December last year, showing the Irish have been craving nostalgic festive food dishes more than ever this year.
The campaign is running until this Wednesday, 16th December. So, Deliveroo has just given everyone the perfect excuse for a merry midweek takeaway – you’re welcome. With five of Deliveroo’s most popular restaurants taking part, there’s a festive freebie to suit every palate.
Umi Falafel
The elves at Umi Falafel have been busy this year preparing Baklawa to give away to everyone on Deliveroo’s nice list. The decadent sweet pastry made of layers of filo filled with deliciousness and held together with syrup comes free with any meal deal ordered through the app. Available in Cork and Dublin.
Kerala Kitchen
Even Ebenezer Scrooge wouldn’t be able to say baa humbug to the Indian street food that Kerala Kitchen is famous for.
