The Food of Love at InterContinental Dublin

For food lovers a romantic meal for two in Seasons Restaurant is a must this Valentine’s, with a sumptuous menu created by Executive Chef Alberto Rossi and prepared with fresh Irish produce and, of course ‘lots of love’.  The crisp white linens, candlelight and beautiful views of the Garden Terrace are all the perfect backdrop to a romantic proposal or even just whisperings of sweet nothings!

A five-course Valentine’s Tasting Menu (€85 pp) will be available on Friday, 14th February and includes a Parisian-style French Martini or Valentine’s mocktail on arrival. Petit Fours will also be included.

There will be live jazz in Seasons from 6:30pm to 10:30pm to add to the romantic atmosphere.

The menu includes dishes such as Grilled Tuna with Miso Dressing; Seared Irish Beef with Chianti Sauce, and Honey, Pistachio, and 64% Chocolate Choux Bun. Vegetarian options are equally indulgent and crafted using the finest seasonal ingredients.

The Lobby Lounge will also be getting into the Valentine’s spirit on Friday the 14th of February and on Saturday, 15th February 2025 offering two courses for €60 or three courses for €65. Dessert includes a choice of a number of delicious soufflés with romantic themes and flavours, created by Orna Larkin.

For girls or guys who like to get together to show their love and support for each other – Valentine’s Afternoon Tea will be served in The Lobby Lounge and Reading Room between Monday February 10th and Sunday, February 16th, and requires a reservation. The hotel’s award-winning Pastry Chef Orna Larkin has created Valentine themed sweet treats to fall in love with including Raspberry Panna Cotta with Vanilla Shortbread; Apple Frangipane Tart; Blueberry and Lime Macaron and Milk Chocolate and Cinnamon Mousse with Chocolate Sponge. You will also enjoy a selection of love heart shaped finger sandwiches and the Hotel’s signature freshly baked scones with fresh coffee or loose-leaf tea, one of which is the Red Roses blend tea alongside other master blends.
