Dublin, March 2025 – Pichet is delighted to announce that Cashel Palace, Michelin-starred chef Stefan Mc Enteer will be the next guest chef in the acclaimed Friends of Pichet series, taking place on 6th April 2025. McEnteer, who recently earned a Michelin star as Head Chef of The Bishop’s Buttery at Cashel Palace, will join Pichet’s Executive Head Chef Harry Quinn for a unique six-course, wine-paired dining experience. Stefan’s tasting menu will be inspired by the rich produce and flavours of the Tipperary landscape – a nod to the roots and culinary heritage that shaped our guest chefs’ career and Michelin Star success.
The Friends of Pichet series has become a hallmark of culinary excellence in Dublin, bringing together some of the most exciting chefs from across Ireland and beyond. This edition is particularly special, as we are hugely excited to be collaborating with Stefan and The Bishop’s Buttery, one of the country’s most highly regarded fine dining establishments. This is a significant event for Irish food lovers, offering an exclusive opportunity to experience the creative synergy between two of Ireland’s most talented chefs.
Originally from Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, Stefan’s culinary journey has seen him work with some of the biggest names in Irish gastronomy, including Neven Maguire and Derry Clarke. His work at The Bishop’s Buttery has cemented his place among the finest chefs in Ireland, with Michelin praising his dishes for their terrific flavours, balance, and execution. Stefan will be creating his signature dish for the night – Balfego Tuna with apple, sorrel, radish and kombu.

The carefully curated six-course tasting menu, will be paired with hand-selected wines to enhance the flavours and craftsmanship behind each dish featuring the local flavours of Tipperary Bishop’s Buttery have become acclaimed for.

From Tipperary-reared lamb and Irish cream liqueur to locally foraged herbs like wild Irish Garlic each dish will reflect the chefs’ deep connection to the land and their shared passion for exceptional flavour.
