Did you know that the Global Wellness Institute estimates that Wellness tourism was worth $651 billion in 2022 and is set to reach $1.3 trillion by 2028! Wellness trips are growing significantly faster than general tourism. Wellness travellers also take 1.5–2x more trips per year than average tourists, and they also spend more per trip.Lisnavagh’s summer Wellness programme offers a series of immersive experiences that move from deep silence to joyful celebration.
Emily Bunbury, Owner at Lisnavagh, said, “This research by the Global Wellness Institute certainly matches our experience. We have been running retreats for several years, and we know that 60–70% of retreat attendees are women. Also, many of the women who attend our events come alone, so solo travel in this category is really popular.”
Lisnavagh has several exciting retreats happening across the Summer this year:

📅 Sunday 17th May 2026
A powerful and deeply immersive experience, the Inipi (sweat lodge) ceremony is rooted in ancient Native American tradition and offers a space for reflection, release, and renewal.
