This Valentine’s Day, The Ivy Dawson Street invites guests to celebrate love in unmistakable Ivy style with a specially curated three-course Valentine’s set menu. Available on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 February, and priced at €75 per person, the menu brings together seasonal flavours and timeless Ivy flair, all served in the heart of Dublin city centre.
Designed to delight from the very first bite, the menu opens with a selection of beautifully balanced starters. Guests can indulge in the Lobster and Cheese Soufflé, twice-baked in a rich cream sauce with lobster, tomato and samphire. Alternatively, the Tamarind, Beetroot and Endive Salad offers a vibrant plant-based option, combining red chicory, kohlrabi and cranberries with candied pecans and an apple cider dressing. A signature favourite, The Ivy Crispy Duck Salad, also features, served with watermelon, roasted cashews, sesame and a ginger and hoisin sauce.
For the main course, The Ivy Dawson Street’s chefs present an elegant selection of flavour-led dishes. The Chicken Milanese with Truffle Sauce sees a crumbed chicken breast topped with a fried hen’s egg, Parmesan and a delicate salad mâche. The Truffle Risotto combines Carnaroli Gran Riserva rice with truffle salsa, vegetarian Parmesan cheese and fresh black truffle, while the Blackened Cod Fillet delivers bold umami flavours with soy-glazed cod loin, citrus-pickled fennel, wakame seaweed, sesame seeds and a fragrant yuzu and herb sauce. For those seeking a standout centrepiece, guests can opt for a Succulent Grilled Fillet Steak (€10 supplement), cooked to perfection and served on buttered spinach with a luxurious truffle and Calvados cream sauce.
Dessert provides a fittingly indulgent finale. The Strawberry and White Chocolate Parfait blends crushed Oreo with lime and red berry sauce for a fresh and playful finish. The iconic Ivy Chocolate Bombedelivers theatre at the table, as warm caramel sauce melts the chocolate dome to reveal vanilla ice cream and honeycomb beneath. For a lighter option, guests can choose a refreshing Lemon Sorbet with butter shortbread.
