Deliveroo is giving restaurants access to data analysis so that they get unique insights into how they can grow their business

New updated app gives restaurants more control over promotions so customers will see more tailored discount offers

Restaurants who partner with Deliveroo on average see their revenue increase by up to 30% and the company hopes these new measures will see that increase further

Deliveroo has launched new online tools to help Irish restaurant partners boost revenue and grow their business. The exclusive tools,‘Restaurant Home’ and ‘Marketer’, provide specific information unique to the restaurants so they can identify opportunities to improve their performance and increase revenue.

The launch in the Irish market follows a very successful launch in the UK, where restaurants get 30% more orders when they run an offer with Marketer; this increased to an average of 50% on Black Friday. And the top 10% best-performing offers have, on average, boosted menu traffic by 89% with 100% increase in order volume, a significant positive impact on the restaurants’ business.

‘Restaurant Home’ – data insights

Deliveroo has unique insights and data on how restaurants’ delivery services perform. Restaurants can use this to learn how to improve their service and understand where their competitors have an advantage. This will be good for customers, who will get quicker orders, and good for restaurants themselves, who will increase their revenue through higher sales.

Deliveroo’s data insights to restaurants will include:

Delivered orders, to increase delivered orders

  • Provides insight into how to increase delivered orders

Prep time, to speed up delivery times

  • Shows the average time between order acceptance and rider pickup
  • Shows the percentage change in prep time over a time period as well as competitors’ average prep time in a local area
  • Provides insight into how to lower average prep time

Order ratings, to improve overall service

  • Shows a line graph of the average customer order rating per day over a time period, as well as how this compares to competitors in a local area

Marketer – restaurant control over promotions

Deliveroo is now offering restaurants a self-service offer and discount system, which lets restaurants set up their own marketing offers to consumers on the app. This will mean:

  • Freedom for restaurants. ‘Restaurant Marketer’ will give restaurants the ability to offer promotions to different customers themselves. Particularly in today’s climate, restaurants are asking for more control of their business. Deliveroo has listened to this and if offering restaurants greater autonomy on the app.
  • Wider range of targeted offers. As a result of this, customers will see a wider range of offers.
