This Christmas, the curtain rises on a dining experience like no other. Six by Nico invites guests to step into a world of sugar plum dreams, snow-dusted wonder and festive nostalgia, as it unveils its most enchanting tasting menu yet – The Nutcracker.
Inspired by Tchaikovsky’s timeless ballet, The Nutcracker reimagines the story’s whimsy and wonder through an elegant six-course tasting journey. From Clara’s dreamlike adventure beneath the glittering Christmas tree to the opulent realm of the Sugar Plum Fairy, each course pirouettes between nostalgia and innovation, bringing festive storytelling to the table with signature Six by Nico flair.
Chef Nico Simeone, CEO and founder of Six by Nico, said, “The Nutcracker has always captured something truly magical about the season – that moment when reality softens and imagination takes over. We wanted this menu to feel like a story unfolding, where each dish reveals a new scene filled with warmth, theatre and a touch of surprise. For many of us, The Nutcracker is part of the soundtrack of Christmas – familiar, comforting, yet endlessly full of wonder. Translating that into food meant blending the nostalgia of a childhood Christmas with the creativity and precision of elevated dining. We hope guests leave with the same feeling they get at the end of the ballet – a sense of joy, delight and a little sparkle of magic that stays with them.”
The Nutcracker Menu brings a six-course tasting experience inspired by the classic ballet. Each course reimagines a scene through bold flavours and winter ingredients. The journey opens with The Gift, featuring Baked Gruyère Royale, smoked pancetta jam, and chestnut-vanilla emulsion — a comforting start reminiscent of Christmas morning. Through the Frosted Gate follows with smoked salmon, bergamot caviar, and frozen horseradish snow, a cool and elegant nod to a crisp winter’s night. The Enchanted Market adds a burst of colour with carrot “tartare,” winter preserves, and salted gooseberries, reflecting the charm of a festive fair.
The experience continues with The Frozen Lake, combining sea bass, ember-roasted leek, burnt apple, and dill-pickle taramasalata in a layered dish. The Midnight Duel offers a deeper, heartier course — pigs in blankets paired with artichoke, black garlic, and caramelised mushroom. To close, The Land of Sweets delivers a bright finale with almond financier bonbons, passionfruit jelly, clementine sorbet, and candy cane tuile. The Nutcracker Menu balances creativity and tradition, offering a refined celebration of the season.
This festive symphony in six courses is available from the 17th of November to the 22nd of November (Mon – Sat only) and from the 26th of November to the 31st of December (Wed – Sat only).
