Just Eat Reveals Winners of Annual Awards and Celebrates Ireland’s Favourite Restaurant Partners
– Independently run restaurant brand Handsome Burger, which has outlets in Galway and Dublin, wins Just Eat’s biggest accolade – ‘Best of Ireland’ 2024

– Summer Inn in Dublin (Local Hero of the Year), Izz Cafe in Cork (Best Middle Eastern), Ten10 in Dublin (Best Breakfast) and Sambros in Limerick (Best Lunch) were among the winners of the Just Eat Awards
– Other wins included Lyons Takeaway (Best Chipper), San Sab (Best Asian), Slice of Naples (Best Pizza) and Salsa (Best Mexican)
– Thousands of the Irish public cast their votes for their most loved restaurants, and Just Eat partners in ten speciality cuisine and food occasion categories
The results are in! Just Eat, Ireland’s leading on demand food delivery platform, has announced the winners of its annual Awards, which celebrate the public’s favourite restaurants and partners across Ireland. This year’s ‘Best of Ireland’ award has been won by Handsome Burger. The foodie favourite received the highest number of votes cast by the Irish public, both in its individual category (Best Burger & American), and overall.
Since opening its first restaurant in Galway in 2019, Handsome Burger’s award-winning menu of burgers, fries and sides has gained a legion of fans, as well as being recognised today by the public as the best food to order on Just Eat. As the winner of ‘Best of Ireland’, Handsome Burger has been awarded a €50,000 media package, offering the team a fantastic opportunity to boost its brand nationwide and attract new customers.
The €50,000 media package is a brand new prize introduced by Just Eat this year, designed to support the restaurant partners who are at the heart of its business. The prize will further boost Handsome Burger’s thriving and rapidly growing brand. This initiative also highlights Just Eat’s continued commitment to empowering its partners, encouraging innovation and celebrating their culinary talent across the network.
Thousands of the Irish public cast their votes for this year’s Just Eat Awards, which celebrate the dedication, passion and excellence that the platform’s partners put into every order delivered to the doors of communities across Ireland.
Category winners were selected from a shortlist of over 80 nominees, and in addition to the ‘Best of Ireland’ category, other award winners were:

This year’s winners, who ranged from local, independent food spots to national restaurant brands, were announced this afternoon at a lunch event in Fallon & Byrne.

Rory and the Handsome Burger team have truly built up a phenomenal following since bursting onto the food delivery scene over six years ago, and with plans to ‘take over the world’ (in their words!) in sight, we look forward to supporting them in getting closer to that goal
