  • Aqua Restaurant offers a truly unique dining experience.

Travel just 25 minutes outside of Dublin City Centre or from Dublin Airport to discover Howth, a picturesque fishing village. The harbour offers a gorgeous respite from the City hustle and bustle during the day, and at night is lit up with returning fishing boats delivering their catch to local restaurants.

Aqua sits at the very end of the West Pier in the first floor of a building that in a former life belonged to Howth Sailing Club. From the dining area you can enjoy through floor to ceiling windows, the panoramic view across Howth sound to the island of Ireland’s Eye, a magical island both visually and historically. The views are truly legendary and mentioned often in reviews of Aqua! From the east facing windows of the restaurant the full splendour of the harbour, the marina, and the working fishing pier can be enjoyed.

The bar at Aqua is cosy, with deep window-seats and black-framed charcoal drawings by local artists. It is a true haven to enjoy a pre or post dining drink. The only challenge is to rise from the couches and continue on your journey! We look forward to welcoming you to Aqua at our home in Howth!

  • This multi-award winning Village is sure to have exactly what you need. Ideally located in a picturesque Wicklow Valley just 1 hour from South Dublin, it is the perfect spot for a get away from it all break. Country house style and state-of-the-art facilities combine to deliver a unique experience.

Relax at The Wells Spa, a designated ‘Resort Spa’. Dine at The Strawberry Tree, Ireland’s first certified Organic restaurant, or La Taverna Armento, a Southern Italian style bistro.

Macreddin Village is also home to Macreddin Golf Course, designed by European Ryder Cup Captain Paul McGinley, Actons Country Pub & Orchard Café, an Organic Bakery, Macreddin Smokehouse and much, much more.

    Celebrated 30 Years, 1988 - 2018

The multi-award winning Strawberry Tree Restaurant is Ireland’s first certified Organic Restaurant. Diners at The Strawberry Tree have the option of both a 5 course Dinner Menu and a 9 course Tasting Menu with both menus showcasing Wild & Organic Foods that have been expertly prepared by The Strawberry Tree Brigade.

The innovative cuisine is matched by the dramatic surroundings, which includes a walk-in Wild Foods Pantry, featuring much of the produce foraged and prepared by our crew, as well as a selection of meats, cured in our own Smoke House and great Irish cheeses.

The Big Table Experience at The Strawberry Tree

The Big Table provides a unique group dining opportunity for The Strawberry Tree Brigade to prepare Foods and a Menu that simply cannot be served in a normal restaurant setting, presented on a single table that can stretch from 8 to 44 people.

Commencing with a simple pre-starter, all the food then arrives together to The Big Table in the style of a Feast and is presented on platters in the centre of the table for guests to pick and choose, mix and match as they wish. Guests are encouraged to help serve the person on both sides of them, helping to add to the conviviality and atmosphere of the table.

After enjoying The Strawberry Tree dessert plate, guests can help themselves to some wonderful Organic Cheeses, which are kept at perfect temperature in our Wild Foods Pantry.

Even the menu is presented in a different style in that rather than the recipe been highlighted, it is the supplier, farmer or artisan producer that is named and acknowledged.

Macreddin Village is known as the Food Village and it's easy to see why. With a variety of venues onsite offering free range, organic and wild food options, you can savour great food in sublime settings.

The person behind this food philosophy is Evan Doyle. Evan is a member of Euro-toques and has hosted the National Food Forum for many years. He has been strongly connected with The Slow Food Movement in Ireland.

  • Here in Brookwood we serve the finest steaks, seafood & cocktails across three floors of dining.

    Steak perfection takes time

All of our beef is sourced from the finest Irish Black Angus herds.  Our butcher uses traditional dry ageing methods and hangs our beef for a minimum of 35 days.  This dry ageing process creates a far superior depth of  flavour.  This is achieved in two ways, firstly the process removes moisture from the meat creating a greater concentration of flavour and secondly the natural enzymes break down the muscle and tissue resulting in a far more tender piece of meat.

    Steak perfection!

Have a drink from the bar

To complete your Brookwood experience, our expert bar tenders are always on hand, ready to serve you the finest cocktails made from the best of ingredients.  We also have a fantastic range of Irish craft beers and our wine list has been lovingly created with something for all tastes buds.

So when you come to Brookwood get ready to sit down, relax and enjoy!

    Private Dining

The Club Room is what makes Brookwood so special. Situated on the top floor, there is no other private dining room like it in Dublin. This luxurious room has been designed to the best possible standard. The room features a Bang & Olufsen 50" flat screen TV and music system, perfect for presentations or any sporting events. Exclusively to our Club Room guests we offer a premium bottle service and a private waiter who will ensure you a top class experience no matter what the occasion. This room is perfect for business presentations, matchday meals, family gatherings, or simply just great food and drinks with friends.

  • At our St Stephen’s Green restaurant, the atmosphere is one of easygoing conviviality.

This is a popular haunt for Dubliners dropping in for a relaxed brunch, or a dozen oysters and a glass of Champagne on their way to the theatre. The city’s business community also rely on the privacy of our intimate dining space.

Menus, which are available for brunch, lunch and dinner seven days a week, are overseen by CLIFF’s Executive Chef Martijn Kajuiter, who holds a Michelin Star at our sister property, Cliff House Hotel in County Waterford. Head Chef Sean Smith ensures every dish is perfect.

Serving brilliantly executed Dublin classics, the Cliff Townhouse restaurant menus are equally suited to a three-course celebration or a light bite in the middle of the day. Staples include generous salads, eggs Benedict, Galway oysters, Irish lobsters, dressed Yawl Bay crabs, wild sea trout and 10oz Hereford rib eye steaks.

By day our dining room is flooded with light from two tall sash windows. High ceilings and chandeliers add elegance, while on the wood-panelled, corniced walls there are Art Deco-style light sconces in antique silver. Large, brass-edged mirrors reflect the sunshine, while the parquet floor recalls the building’s Georgian past.

Hugo's first opened its doors in 2007 and has long since embedded itself as a stalwart of Dublin's restaurant scene. Featured in The Irish Times '100 Best places to eat in Ireland', McKenna Guide's 'Best in Ireland', CNN's Dublin's Top Restaurants, TheTaste.ie and many more.

We have a huge bias towards locally sourced ingredients (organic where possible), and a dedication to fresh and imaginative food. The kitchen, under the steady eye of Head Chef Peter Byrne (former Euro-Toque Young Chef of the Year), is a keen and innovative team who are eager to prepare for you the very best ingredients of which Ireland has to offer. Our wine list is worldly and extensive, and it allows our guests to choose from over 80 wines by the glass. These elements are married with smart professional service, brought by a long serving, but young, full-time team both front and back of house.

Hugo's is situated just off the north east corner of St. Stephens Green. We are nestled equidistant between the 5 star Merrion and Shelbourne Hotels. • Morelands Grill, is a chic and contemporary urban steak house restaurant, centrally located on Westmoreland Street and on the new cross-city Luas line. Welcoming diners for both lunch and dinner each day, flavoursome dishes are cooked in a Josper Grill to ensure great tasting food!

All the beef is sourced from a small group of farmers in the South Leinster area, whose excellent husbandry skills ensure their livestock is reared on only the best of natural grass and grains, less all the artificial growth promoters and additives. The unique 30-day Himalayan salt aged beef by Peter Hannan sees the beef dry aged for 30 days in a cold chamber that is lined with blocks of Himalayan Rock Salts and it has won numerous awards.

We’re proud to work with Dublin’s long standing Bretzel Bakery and their legendary ‘real’ bread from traditional baking practices.

  • There is nothing like The Garden Room in Dublin. In this city, it’s utterly unique.

As the now-famous Merrion grew, a courtyard garden appeared right in the very heart of the hotel. A formal garden, complete with fountain, overlooked by the drawing rooms and guestrooms on three sides and the blue skies above.

On the fourth side, to the east, we have created a light and airy space that opens onto the garden and becomes a part of it. This is The Garden Room.

From the beginning we wanted it to be a less formal affair. Somewhere to unwind and laugh with friends over a refreshingly cold bottle of rosé and a deliciously fresh seafood salad. A secret garden where you’ll find little groups of people who love each other’s company and others, dining alone, happy to enjoy a brief escape with just themselves. Weather permitting, we’ll open those great floor-to-ceiling glass doors to the garden terrace for true al fresco dining.

Our menus were all painstakingly designed by master head chef Ed Cooney.

His idea is to keep everything brilliantly simple. To not over-complicate anything but to help keep The Garden Room a relaxed, informal, sanctuary of sanity. The menus feature modern Irish food from artisan food producers and our wonderful natural harvest from land and sea.

When the workhouse system was abolished and the Clogheen workhouse closed, the Sisters continued to teach in the local school and work in the present St. Theresa’s hospital located in the only remaining building of the original workhouse complex. In 1991, the Mercy order decided to sell the Convent and build a lovely bungalow adjacent for the resident nuns, where they still reside to this day.

    Present

Dermot and Christine Gannon bought the building in 2005 with a vision to create a space where guests could relax and rejuvenate, while enjoying great food and the beautiful Tipperary countryside.

The Old Convent was born in July of 2006. The daily changing tasting menu was key to fulfilling their goal of using the freshest Irish artisan ingredients, served in the beautiful Chapel Dining Room.

    Dinner

Dermot’s daily changing 8 Course Irish Artisan Tasting Menu is served in The Chapel Dining Room at 8 pm. There is just one seating for dinner, so the table is yours to enjoy for the entire evening.

  • The world famous Shelbourne is a timeless landmark in the heart of Dublin.

Overlooking the magnificent St. Stephen's Green, it is only a few minutes walk from Dublin's most famous landmarks as well as the key shopping and cultural areas of the city. The connection to Ireland's capital runs far deeper than just location.

Founded in 1824, The Shelbourne is a place where history has been made, the Irish Constitution was drafted, literary masterpieces were penned and society was shaped. This outstanding hotel has been dramatically restored to its full original splendor in recent years. Take time to write your chapter in this iconic properties extensive history.

    The Saddle Room

The Saddle Room encompasses the cherished traditions of dining at The Shelbourne, developed over generations. Reassuringly timeless, with an atmosphere of grandeur and comfort, it strikes a balance between formality and relaxation. A lavish menu inspired by the classics and served with all the theatre and flourish of old-school Irish service.

A lavish cheese trolley. A pre-ordered roast of black leg chicken for two. A sumptuously traditional Beef Wellington carved table side. Dining in The Saddle Room is what The Shelbourne has always been designed with the guest's enjoyment first and foremost in mind.

Executive Head Chef Garry Hughes and his devoted team have created a series of seasonal menus which pay homage to the grand culinary history of The Shelbourne and celebrate the most spectacular and delicious local produce of Ireland.

Capable of seating up to twenty guests, The Saddle Room's private dining rooms offer all the comfort, style and old-world service of The Saddle Room but in an intimate and private setting.

    The Lord Mayor's Lounge

Luxurious, lovingly restored, and sparkling with light, Ireland's most historic drawing room looks out over the grandeur of St. Stephen's Green. From bright morning meetings and the cherished traditions of Afternoon Tea to dinner and drinks for residents late into the evening, The Lord Mayor's Lounge is a quietly opulent space designed for delight.

    No. 27 Bar & Lounge

The social capital of the Irish capital and the beating heart of the hotel, where Dublin society gathers to raise a glass and raise their spirits. Sparkling cocktails and precise pints served with style. A menu of elevated bar classics and fresh Irish seafood served with casual elegance. No.27 Bar & Lounge is the place to see and be seen.

    The Horseshoe Bar

A distinctive Dublin treasure. A warm and intimate bar for a perfect pint of plain, a beloved local whiskey or a well-built martini. The atmospheric Horseshoe Bar is a destination, an institution and a living history of Irish society. Hosting Ireland's most fascinating characters since 1957.

    1824 Bar

If The Shelbourne itself had a snug, this might just be it. A luxe, intimate, and sophisticated atmosphere with low lights, rich wood panelling, and a host with the arcane knowledge to navigate 1824's vast hand-picked list of top-shelf whiskey, Champagne, wine, and premium cocktails.

    The Terrace

A hidden, unexpected and enchanting open-air space within the hotel which blurs the distinction between indoors and out. The Terrace is sheltered from the elements but open to the sky, with broad canopies, heaters, and an open fireplace to extend the season. A fine wine list and sharing platters featuring exceptional Irish ingredients.

  • Tom’s Table @ the Red Cow Moran Hotel

Every detail of the design of this new restaurant has been carefully thought-out. The centrepiece is a family kitchen table and this sets the tone for the whole restaurant: It’s all about conversation, family values, laughter, good food, setting the world to rights and just great fun.

The Red Cow Moran Hotel is a family owned hotel. The founder, Tom Moran, comes from a large family and in his home the kitchen table has always been at the very heart of family life. That table, in his home, inspired this table, in this restaurant and that’s why it is called Tom’s Table. In fact, the original table still sits today in Tom’s family home in Athea, West Limerick. He built it himself as a young apprentice carpenter and to him it represents family, tradition, comfort, community and the pleasures of sharing a good meal and great memories.

The focus from head chef Brian McCarthy and his team is on providing great food sourced as locally as possible with a particular emphasis, fittingly for the Red Cow, on excellent steaks with a signature ‘Bull’ Hayes Irish Hereford ribeye from Limerick just like the great man himself. The menus reflect this open, honest, wholesome, natural family way too. So you’ll find steaks, chicken, salmon, duck, pork, shellfish and seafood, all sourced from producers all over Ireland, known and trusted suppliers. Everything used is seasonal, locally produced and fresh, prepared by hand and cooked to order.

Bright, warm and atmospheric, the materials, wall treatments and finishes used throughout Tom’s Table pay gentle respect to the countryside origins of the hotel owner. Using simple painted brick, classic terracotta and mosaic tiles, along with aged leather and polished wood, there is a sense of the patina of history despite this being a fresh new restaurant concept.

The bright and comfortable space, flooded with light from floor to ceiling windows on two sides, has cosy booths, banquettes and upholstered chairs in rich-toned leather. Comfort and style are equally important, and the room is beautifully lit with golden pools of light from the feature pendant lamps reflected and multiplied by the mirror panels behind the banquettes.

  • Urban Brewing is the newest addition to the exciting and ever developing Dublin Docklands, combining a craft brewery with two unique bars and its own Stack A Restaurant within. We’ve created our intimate home in a stunning, vaulted 19th century warehouse space in the CHQ Building. Our venue is a mix of offerings that is inspired by travels and journeys of our own and suits any occasion. A briefly detailed outline is shared below.

    Stack A Restaurant

Located in our 200-year-old vaults, an architectural masterpiece in its own right, Stack A is a smart casual restaurant suited to intimate small tables, social gatherings or larger groups up to 250 people. Due to the layout of the vaults, each separated by a wonderful wall of brick and stone, it makes for an unrivalled atmosphere and setting. Serving both lunch and dinner, group menus, canapes and a lot more, it is a unique space to bring your relatives, friends or clients.

    Hop Garden

A large terrace, fully heated and covered is an ideal all year-round spot to enjoy a drink, bite or coffee.

    Taps & Tapas

Our most social, informal and vibrant space. With its own dedicated open kitchen, crafting an array of international tapas style dishes, two fully licensed bars that offer over 200 beers, over 100 wines by the glass and bottle, as well as very selective spirits and inventive cocktails. Whether you prefer the bright and modern surroundings of our mezzanine overlooking the waterfront or prefer the more intimate setting of our vault bar, there is always a spot and a smile waiting for you.

    Brewmasters’ Table

This is a private area that can accommodate 16 guests sitting or 25 standing. It is where our own brews ferment and age in different barrels. Be it for a tasting, a food and wine / beer pairing or simply a more exclusive get together, it always makes for a memorable experience. Brewery Tours With the first of its kind brewery in Ireland, we are well suited to offer a variety of brewery tour packages and tastings. These can be organised in advance and a highlight we are really proud off. During these tours you get to immerse yourself in the brewing process, taste whichever beers we are pouring at the time and meet the brewers for a more in depth and approachable chat.
