  • Here in Brookwood we serve the finest steaks, seafood & cocktails across three floors of dining.

    Steak perfection takes time

All of our beef is sourced from the finest Irish Black Angus herds.  Our butcher uses traditional dry ageing methods and hangs our beef for a minimum of 35 days.  This dry ageing process creates a far superior depth of  flavour.  This is achieved in two ways, firstly the process removes moisture from the meat creating a greater concentration of flavour and secondly the natural enzymes break down the muscle and tissue resulting in a far more tender piece of meat.

    Steak perfection!

Have a drink from the bar

To complete your Brookwood experience, our expert bar tenders are always on hand, ready to serve you the finest cocktails made from the best of ingredients.  We also have a fantastic range of Irish craft beers and our wine list has been lovingly created with something for all tastes buds.

So when you come to Brookwood get ready to sit down, relax and enjoy!

    Private Dining

The Club Room is what makes Brookwood so special. Situated on the top floor, there is no other private dining room like it in Dublin. This luxurious room has been designed to the best possible standard. The room features a Bang & Olufsen 50" flat screen TV and music system, perfect for presentations or any sporting events. Exclusively to our Club Room guests we offer a premium bottle service and a private waiter who will ensure you a top class experience no matter what the occasion. • One of the brightest gems on the Dublin dining scene, Dunne & Crescenzi offers the most authentic Italian experience. The charming Italian staff - from the baristas to the chefs, prepare dishes using the highest quality produce – both Italian artisan ingredients and local produce in support of Irish farmers. They also offer a carefully selected wine list with over 150 labels from all over Italy.

The owners, Eileen and Stefano, first met in Rome and their passion for Italian food, wine and culture carried them over to Dublin. This passion really shines through in their menus, which include fillet of Gilligan’s Irish Hereford beef with rocket pesto and Grana Trentino petals, as well as Panzerotti ravioli with ricotta & spinach with cherry tomato confit and Grana Trentino DOP fonduta. The seafood at Dunne & Crescenzi is also a real winner - try the monkfish from Doran’s with tomatoes, olives, caper crumbs and fresh spinach leaves.

With a number of locations throughout Dublin and a restaurant in Kildare Retail Village, pay a visit to Dunne & Crescenzi to experience for yourself the welcoming atmosphere and taste the food that, according to food writer Tom Doorley, “changed the way the Irish eat”.

  • The Whole Idea

There’s a simple idea behind Fallon & Byrne, and it’s this. We believe in wonderful food, fine wine, great company. We put it on our shelves for you to take away. Or we serve it to you, in any of several ways. You choose. We’ll even bring the whole experience to you to cater for an event at home or in work.

    Slow food. Hot Spot.

The restaurant was always intended to be a treat, and it is. Just a not wildly expensive one. The season’s good stuff from land and sea, cooked with gentle respect for excellent ingredients, served by cheerful sorts in a beautiful space.

    The Lower Depths

The shelves are lined with an unrivalled selection of more than 600 wickedly quaffable wines, many served by the glass, all to take away. We can recommend every last one, with or without our tasty bar food. Our staff will help you to choose wines to match your food or party and we’re happy to give discounts on larger purchases. We’ll even deliver cases to your door.

And, to banish those early week blues, we have a special offer of just €1 corkage on all wines from the cellar shelves every Monday & Tuesday.

    A Proper Grocers

Very proper. The food hall at Fallon & Byrne stocks the best of everything, and that’s all. Just-caught fish, well-hung meat, mighty coffee, sinful cakes, fine artisan foods of every kind, the freshest of fruit and vegetables.

Who said stocking shelves was easy? It shouldn’t be. We spent years editing our food collection and we’re constantly updating it because, let’s face it, not every jar that glitters is gold. And the tasty result of all of this hard work (somebody’s got to do it)? More than 3,000 bottles and jars of natural delectables, some old chestnuts, others new finds. All products we love, priced at points we hope you’ll find fair.

We do hampers. We do lunch. We do serious treats. Within reason, we do whatever you’d like us to. You do your food browsing. We hop to it.

  • Where it began...
Farmer Browns was set up in 2012 by Limerick sisters Grace and Finnuala Caffrey. With a passion for food and hospitality embedded in their DNA, they started out with a handful of tables and buckets full of ambition. Now celebrating 10 successful years in business, Farmer Browns continues to grow while committing to keeping their menus seasonal.
Using only lthe best ocal suppliers and producers available to them and looking to food trends for inspiration to ensure their menus are fresh and relevant - these sisters know how to put on a spread!

Today, Farmer Browns is best known for its wholesome menu options, large portions, and tasty and vibrant combinations all while fully catering to vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets, and did we mention children eat free off peak?!

Must See... Farmer Browns opened its first restaurant on Bath Avenue in 2012, an exciting new tech corner of the city. Starting out serving homemade cakes and treats, their stellar offering and popularity gave the sisters the confidence to expand their menu to serving early breakfasts, quick lunches and award-winning brunch (LovinDublin). This once tea cafe soon became the perfect neighbourhood eatery and a firm favourite with the locals. Midweek breakfast is served from 8am - 3pm and at weekends all-day brunch is served from 9am - 4pm. We recommend booking or be ready to join their quickly moving waitlist. Otherwise, why not grab & go with their full menu available to take away.

The menus here have all your favourites; from pancakes, eggs all ways, soups, sharing plates, sandwiches and a wide variety of freshly baked pastries. With a menu influenced by Irish-American-Mexican cuisine, you'll find international flavours with Turkish eggs accompanied by homemade garlic flatbreads, eggs benedict or crunchy nutty granola with vegan yoghurt and fresh berries and acai bowls.

The creativity and love on each plate will have you coming back time and time again. Check out their daily specials and midweek lunch combos on instagram @farmerbrownsdublin

Growing... A few years later, Farmer Browns opened its second restaurant in Rathmines. Flowing out onto the hustle and bustle of the trendy neighbourhood, this was a larger space, boasting a beautiful south-facing outdoor terrace serving delicious cocktails and brunch in the sun as well as the perfect date spot on colder days with soft blankets, heaters and luxe cushions. Newly renovated, the interior is something of eclectic and vintage dreams, coupled with an ever-growing cocktail list and wholesome seasonal menus. The menu here has something for everyone; with brunch daily from 10am, dinner from 5pm and mid-week lunch deals you cannot beat - this little city gem must be on your foodie list! Pint anyone...? In 2018, Farmer Browns moved into the pub scene along with their signature seasonal menus.

Now boasting two Gastro-pubs located in South Dublin suburbs, Kilternan & Clonskeagh, Farmer Browns Pubs are a hot spot with locals, students and the after-work crew. With more great food, south-facing sun terraces and convenient locations, Farmer Browns Pubs are the ideal spot to go for those fun cocktail days, dancing on a Saturday night or lazy brunch with the gals at the weekend! Hosting all types of parties, events and celebrations get in touch and they will be happy to create a catered package just for you!

  • There are only a couple of artisan wood fired oven manufacturers left in Naples. We found the best – a fourth generation Neapolitan oven manufacturer. It took nine months to convince the Fererra family and their team of Artisans to leave their factory in Naples to make their very first fixed oven in Ireland. Nine tonne pallets of original materials were shipped into Dublin in anticipation of their arrival. Brick-by-brick from the ground up, a team of artisan oven builders brought ancient style of oven building using Old World Neapolitan techniques to Dublin.

Taking ten days to construct, Santa Maria bricks from Campania were used in the walls and dome, the cooking surface is Biscotto di Sorrento and all of this is packed together with mortar made from volcanic ash from Mount Vesuvius. Says Mr Fererra “This is not a prefabbed oven, this is an ancient style Forno (oven) that we built using old world Neapolitan techniques, passed down from my great-grandfather. We locked all workers out during the oven building process so that we could protect our local secrets. I first built ovens with my grandfather when I was just 13 years old, today my son and I carry on this ancient tradition. To this day our ovens routinely maintains daily dome temperatures of 500°C and our ovens can be found fixed in the best street pizzerias of Naples”.

Forno 500°’s Restaurant, Bar and Pizzeria is situated on Dame Street, sandwiched between the Olympia theatre and Brogan’s Bar. It is in a beautiful warm space formerly known as Les Feres Jacques. Now completely transformed it houses the first fixed bespoke Neapolitan wood burning oven in Ireland. Using genuine top quality ingredients imported from Naples. The new restaurant in Dublin is now a two story eatery serving the classic soft Pizza di Napoli and fresh pastas.

THE STORY OF GIRL AND THE GOOSE RESTAURANT

“I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to my restaurant. I know the name is a little unusual, but there is a bit of story behind it. I wanted to dedicate this restaurant to my little daughter Lea, and we couldn’t find the right name until my friend Ruth came up with logo based on my daughter’s toy – a wooden goose. After few days we came up with the idea of combining Lea’s name and her toy and we came up with the name Lea’s Little Goose. Coincidently, same night I was enjoying my time with a great customer of mine Peter from our Terenure’s restaurant and I mentioned that to him. He pointed me directly to Brother’s Grimm fairy tale The Goose Girl – and that was it – ‘Girl and the Goose’ was born and I am more than happy to share my ‘dream came thru’ in connection with fairy tale – this could be our secret fairy tale.

In the Girl and the Goose, my goal was to create a relaxed home like experience where anybody can enjoy my homemade traditional Irish dishes. All my dishes are prepared on order by using both traditional and modern cooking techniques from locally sourced high-quality ingredients. In this menu you will find hearty Irish dishes, great to accompany you during your romantic night out, family get togethers or casual dining.

Our aim is to provide you with the high quality food and wine in a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere without any fuss. If you have any recommendations to improve our services, please let one of my team members know and I will make sure that we will work very hard on making this restaurant better and better.

Thank you for choosing my restaurant and I wish you an enjoyable and memorable evening. – Bon Appetite!”

  • Flavour is (almost) everything

We believe in flavour. But we also believe in brilliant service and incredible atmosphere. Bring all three together, and you transform fantastic food into a fantastic experience, which is what we’ve been doing since we first opened our doors in 2006.

    Our ethos

Gourmet Food Parlour’s ethos is to produce healthy, nutritious, affordable food sourcing local ingredients and using local suppliers where possible. Established in 2006 with a restaurant in Dun Laoghaire, there are now 10 locations across Dublin and Galway including a state-of-the-art catering kitchen in Santry.

    Our founder

Lorraine Heskin is Founder and CEO of Gourmet Food Parlour. Lorraine looks after the operational and day to day running of the business. She is very ‘hands on’ in her role and her attention to detail can be seen in every aspect of the restaurants and catering sectors. Lorraine has grown GFP into a very successful business employing over 300 people across its 10 locations.

    The Gourmet Team

We’re only as good as our team, so it’s a good thing ours is totally brilliant! Consistency is key though, so we employ the best people, then train them in the Gourmet Food Parlour way at our training academy. From floor staff to front of house, everyone has been thoroughly schooled with one goal in mind: ensuring our guests have a fantastic Gourmet experience.

    Our Restaurants

We have restaurants in some of the best spots in Dublin. Serving wholesome food from morning till night and offering vegetarian, vegan, gluten–free and children’s options. We have every meal and everyone catered for.

  • CHINESE RESTAURANT & MUSIC VENUE IN DUBLIN

Don't let the anonymous takeaway door fool you, it's far from chicken balls and 3-in-1s that Hang Dai was raised. Reverent raiding parties set off for Beijing and Hong Kong, returning with the knowledge to forge a menu from local ingredients. Our aim is to make food that would pass the strictest Chinese grandma's taste test.

Roast duck and dumplings are our main squeeze but music is no mere side hustle. A custom built sound system and DJ booth belt out tunes from last service until the wee hours, with a carefully-constructed cocktail menu in tow. Lashings of disco and Hang Dai Sours are the order of the day.

    GOLD BAR

Sitting on top of our Camden Street home, the Gold Bar is Hang Dai’s new kid on the old block, with sun-kissed balcony views out across the bustling street below. With our full menu from downstairs on offer, ace cocktails, and epically curated tunes, the Gold Bar is a breath of fresh air on the Dublin venue scene.

Hang Dai’s main man, Toby Hatchett of Hatchett Sound & Furniture, has fitted out the new bar with red leather, brass fittings, unique wood panelling and a gorgeous gold ceiling. Naturally, the Gold Bar also features one of Toby’s bespoke sound systems, handmade in his Cork studio to the highest standard available.

Now open Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm till late and Sundays from 5pm-9:30pm. It is available to book for parties of all sizes. Call or email to organise private events in the Gold Bar. Our balcony is fully covered and heated for those chillier evenings too.

  • Kehoes Bar was first licensed in 1803 when the winds of revolution permeated the Dublin air and now this authentic, unpretentious Victorian shrine is one of last great heritage pubs of Dublin. The interior throughout Kehoes is the product of a Victorian style renovation completed towards the end of the 19th century which has been preserved to the present day. Nowadays this old pub is the buzzing haunt of tourists, scholars, shoppers and business people alike.

Entering this pub lovers haven, you will be instantly confronted by the austerity and subdued colourings of the Victorian age. When visiting Kehoes take note of the original mahogany drawers, behind the low grocery counter, which once housed rice, tea, coffee, snuffs and other provisions items. In its former existence this area was frequented by shoppers of the age who could slip in and enjoy a triple in the snug while the proprietor prepared the provisions order. Everything here remains as it was 100 years ago, including the serving hatch and buzzer in the snug.

    The Heritage Bar

Passing through the saloon-style stained glass mahogany doors, we enter the Heritage Bar – unspoilt, untouched and wearing the patina of its years superbly. Today, we can capture it exactly as it was; only the faces have changed. Plenty of mahogany partitions to provide seclusion, comfort and privacy. All the advertising signs of yesteryear remain in place. While you are here, order yourself a Guinness and as you wait for it to settle, study the splendid Victorian black bar, sumptuously carved in solid dark grained mahogany woods. Take note of the two little ante-rooms which are always occupied, and be sure to mind your head if you need to journey to the restrooms – Another lost charm of the older pubs

If Joyce was to return today, I’ll bet that he would regret missing out on this one. But Joyce’s loss was aptly compensated for in the persons of Kavanagh, Behan and Myles na gCopaleen, who regularly imbibed here when they fell out of favour across the way in McDaid’s. Not that John Kehoe wasover-enamouredd to see them – as their high spirited style of showmanship ran contrary to the ethics of this strict and conservative house. But they found a more tolerant welcome here in the less quiet interludes of the morning when less inebriated and when accompanied by the acceptable faces of Dublin’s literati. The 40’s and 50’s were the great literary days at Kehoes.

  • The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with a wonderful menu of Middle Eastern/Egyptian foods… Enjoy your meal on our lovely terrace outside…

Bring Your Own Bottle of Wine Policy with no corkage charges means amazing value dining in these recessionary times!

Parties of 40-50 avail of room exclusivity. Keshk Cafe accommodates up to 50-60 guests in the function room. If you would like to book a private party please call on 01 667 3002 or email us on keshk@keshk.ie.

Gift Vouchers are available from Keshk and are a perfect present for anyone who loves their food…

"Keshk is remarkable in a number of ways but lets take wine first. You bring your own wine or beer and they don’t even charge you for the service of opening it, pouring it into the rather attractive wine glasses provided, washing them up afterwards and recycling the bottle.

The food here is, broadly speaking, that of north African and the Eastern Med, apart of the world that is, for religious reasons, largely for teetotal.. It is also the kind of food that appeals to something very deep inside me: Its a sunny kind of food, with lots of garlic, lemon, cumin, lamb grilled over charcoal, flat breads. olive oil…. I suspect you will understand what I’m getting at.

Keshk is a gem. Most of the menu is as simple as it gets, good raw materials cooked in a way that goes back centuries, a reminder that you can eat very well indeed without spending a fortune- The bill came to a very reasonable €59.70- and, in the poor excuse for the summer, a reminder also, of the food of the sunnier places."
