Brasserie

Dining is the unique Dublin restaurant menu guide. Please find below all menus available for your chosen category.

  • At brasserie sixty6 our aim is to bring an innovative accessible menu of the highest quality food and an expertly chosen wine list to our diners in funky, stylish surroundings, all at a reasonable cost to you.

And we take our food very very seriously. All our food – everything – is cooked to order. And our expert chefs use only the finest ingredients, sourced locally from the most reputable butchers, fishmongers, green grocers, artisan bakers, and internationally from carefully sourced specialist food suppliers.

Our beef is hung for 21 days for optimum flavour and tenderness, while our poultry are reared on only natural foods, and our fish and seafood is bought fresh – every single day – from the markets. Our vegetables come fresh from the markets daily, and are washed and prepared by us in our kitchens.

And that’s why our rib eyes, our homemade sausages, our calamari, our succulent chickens, our monkfish, our Alfredos, our risottos, our homemade chips, our salsas, (to name just a few!) all taste so good.

Our guarantee to you: brasserie sixty6 uses only the finest and freshest ingredients in the preparation of our food.

The difference is on the plate.

  • Peploe’s Wine Bistro is located on St Stephens Green in the heart of Dublin City.
Produce sourced from the best Irish suppliers, great food and ambience at Peploe’s Restaurant.

Peploe’s story is the culmination of a long-held ambition for owner, Barry Canny, to open an accessible, affordable bistro reflecting his personal passion for simple good food, fine wine and art.

The building dates from the 1760’s and is classic Georgian Dublin. It was a rather ambitious project that Mr Canny embarked upon to develop the basement location as it housed an 18 tonne steel door and is a listed building. 2 years and 350 tonnes of concrete later Peploe’s opened its doors on the 19th of November 2003 to an incredible buzz of interest.

As the restaurant is named after the renowned Scottish Colourist, Samuel John Peploe, reproductions of his artwork and that of the other Scottish Colourists (commissioned from young Irish artists) adorn the walls. In a touch of style, these are framed with original 19th century frames sourced in London.

The motivation was to give Dublin an informal yet sophisticated bistro, serving great wine and classic dishes at affordable prices. 16 years on, Peploe’s is  still considered ‘the’ place to eat at anytime of the afternoon or evening.

The décor has the feel of a long established, stylish gentleman’s club, with comfortable leather chairs and reclaimed oak-panelled floor and walls. The dining room is colourful and atmospheric with an amusing mural running the length of the dining room wall.

  • The world famous Shelbourne is a timeless landmark in the heart of Dublin.

Overlooking the magnificent St. Stephen's Green, it is only a few minutes walk from Dublin's most famous landmarks as well as the key shopping and cultural areas of the city. The connection to Ireland's capital runs far deeper than just location.

Founded in 1824, The Shelbourne is a place where history has been made, the Irish Constitution was drafted, literary masterpieces were penned and society was shaped. This outstanding hotel has been dramatically restored to its full original splendor in recent years. Take time to write your chapter in this iconic properties extensive history.

    The Saddle Room

The Saddle Room encompasses the cherished traditions of dining at The Shelbourne, developed over generations. Reassuringly timeless, with an atmosphere of grandeur and comfort, it strikes a balance between formality and relaxation. A lavish menu inspired by the classics and served with all the theatre and flourish of old-school Irish service.

A lavish cheese trolley. A pre-ordered roast of black leg chicken for two. A sumptuously traditional Beef Wellington carved table side. Dining in The Saddle Room is what The Shelbourne has always been designed with the guest's enjoyment first and foremost in mind.

Executive Head Chef Garry Hughes and his devoted team have created a series of seasonal menus which pay homage to the grand culinary history of The Shelbourne and celebrate the most spectacular and delicious local produce of Ireland.

Capable of seating up to twenty guests, The Saddle Room's private dining rooms offer all the comfort, style and old-world service of The Saddle Room but in an intimate and private setting.

    The Lord Mayor's Lounge

Luxurious, lovingly restored, and sparkling with light, Ireland's most historic drawing room looks out over the grandeur of St. Stephen's Green. From bright morning meetings and the cherished traditions of Afternoon Tea to dinner and drinks for residents late into the evening, The Lord Mayor's Lounge is a quietly opulent space designed for delight.

    No. 27 Bar & Lounge

The social capital of the Irish capital and the beating heart of the hotel, where Dublin society gathers to raise a glass and raise their spirits. Sparkling cocktails and precise pints served with style. A menu of elevated bar classics and fresh Irish seafood served with casual elegance. No.27 Bar & Lounge is the place to see and be seen.

    The Horseshoe Bar

A distinctive Dublin treasure. A warm and intimate bar for a perfect pint of plain, a beloved local whiskey or a well-built martini. The atmospheric Horseshoe Bar is a destination, an institution and a living history of Irish society. Hosting Ireland's most fascinating characters since 1957.

    1824 Bar

If The Shelbourne itself had a snug, this might just be it. A luxe, intimate, and sophisticated atmosphere with low lights, rich wood panelling, and a host with the arcane knowledge to navigate 1824's vast hand-picked list of top-shelf whiskey, Champagne, wine, and premium cocktails.

    The Terrace

A hidden, unexpected and enchanting open-air space within the hotel which blurs the distinction between indoors and out. The Terrace is sheltered from the elements but open to the sky, with broad canopies, heaters, and an open fireplace to extend the season. A fine wine list and sharing platters featuring exceptional Irish ingredients.
