    Diwali Restaurant at Camden Street is our modern touch to the ever popular Diwali Restaurant in South George Street. Diwali's history dates back to 2007 when a simple idea of serving authentic Nepalese and Indian Cuisine flourished and has been serving authentic Indian Cuisine to the resident of Ireland and abroad.

    Diwali means the festival of lights and similarly we want to enlighten you with our finest of what Nepal and India has to offer pairing with a selection of wines, liquors and cocktails.     Established in 1997 Montys is a traditional and authentic Nepalese Restaurant, owned by husband and wife team of Shiva and Lina Gautam. As the very first Nepalese Restaurant in In Ireland, we are Nepalese all the way through!

    Over 17 years of serving great Nepalese food to the Irish public as well as our visitors from abroad, Montys of Kathmandu offers a great variety of Nepalese food at great value with great Nepalese service, where the customers are always treated with great respect.

    Our focus is to source quality raw ingredients and prepare all dishes in house, taking no short cuts and serve great Nepalese food. We use traditional charcoal tandoor to give that smoky taste to our Barbecued dishes and to our very famous Nan breads.
