  • Kehoes Bar was first licensed in 1803 when the winds of revolution permeated the Dublin air and now this authentic, unpretentious Victorian shrine is one of last great heritage pubs of Dublin. The interior throughout Kehoes is the product of a Victorian style renovation completed towards the end of the 19th century which has been preserved to the present day. Nowadays this old pub is the buzzing haunt of tourists, scholars, shoppers and business people alike.

Entering this pub lovers haven, you will be instantly confronted by the austerity and subdued colourings of the Victorian age. When visiting Kehoes take note of the original mahogany drawers, behind the low grocery counter, which once housed rice, tea, coffee, snuffs and other provisions items. In its former existence this area was frequented by shoppers of the age who could slip in and enjoy a triple in the snug while the proprietor prepared the provisions order. Everything here remains as it was 100 years ago, including the serving hatch and buzzer in the snug.

    The Heritage Bar

Passing through the saloon-style stained glass mahogany doors, we enter the Heritage Bar – unspoilt, untouched and wearing the patina of its years superbly. Today, we can capture it exactly as it was; only the faces have changed. Plenty of mahogany partitions to provide seclusion, comfort and privacy. All the advertising signs of yesteryear remain in place. While you are here, order yourself a Guinness and as you wait for it to settle, study the splendid Victorian black bar, sumptuously carved in solid dark grained mahogany woods. Take note of the two little ante-rooms which are always occupied, and be sure to mind your head if you need to journey to the restrooms – Another lost charm of the older pubs

If Joyce was to return today, I’ll bet that he would regret missing out on this one. But Joyce’s loss was aptly compensated for in the persons of Kavanagh, Behan and Myles na gCopaleen, who regularly imbibed here when they fell out of favour across the way in McDaid’s. Not that John Kehoe wasover-enamouredd to see them – as their high spirited style of showmanship ran contrary to the ethics of this strict and conservative house. But they found a more tolerant welcome here in the less quiet interludes of the morning when less inebriated and when accompanied by the acceptable faces of Dublin’s literati. The 40’s and 50’s were the great literary days at Kehoes.

  • Welcome to La Côte

Located on Custom Quay overlooking the Irish Sea and Wexford’s famous Mussel Trawlers, La Côte is a contemporary seafood restaurant owned and run by Michelin-trained chef Paul Hynes and his wife Edwina.

Offering Irish seafood with a modern European influence, La Côte allows Paul to showcase his love of seafood cuisine as chef/patron and where Edwina, as a restaurant manager, ensures a welcoming and attentive service.  Our menus are inspired by the fresh local produce we can gather from land and sea, and we are proud to work with dedicated food producers, farmers and chefs.

La Côte’s many accolades to date include Seafood Restaurant of the Year 2016 by the Georgina Campbell Ireland Guide and, more recently, Best Restaurant and Best Chef for County Wexford at the 2018 Irish Restaurant Awards. The restaurant is holder of the L’Assiette Michelin, or Michelin Plate, indicating a restaurant of noteworthy, quality food.

    Our Story

Following years in Michelin-star establishments such as L’Ecrivain in Dublin and Arbutus and Tom Aikens in London, Paul returned to his native Wexford and continued to work with some excellent chefs such as Roberto Pons of La Dolce Vita & Alan Foley of The Step House prior to opening La Côte with his wife Edwina in 2014.

Like Paul, Edwina is a trained chef and has years of experience in restaurant management. La Côte is the realisation of their dream to create a modern Irish seafood restaurant to channel their passion for good food and fine local produce; an eatery to showcase Paul’s wonderful skill and natural talent for cooking seafood and Edwina’s flair for front of house.

Food is a passion for Paul and Edwina. Outside La Côte, you will find Paul fishing and them both foraging their way around Wexford. Paul is always experimenting with new flavours and textures in the kitchen and they travel regularly to seek out new dining and food experiences for inspiration.

Paul and Edwina believe that great ingredients create great dishes and are passionate about using local, seasonal produce. Fish at La Côte is always fresh and delivered to the restaurant on the day it is caught. Menus at La Côte change with the seasons and are inspired by what can be sourced locally: freshly caught fish off Wexford’s Kilmore Quay; meat sourced from local farmers; artisan breads baked by Paul; herbs, plants and sea vegetables grown themselves or foraged for locally; edible flowers and herbs grown in the restaurant’s window boxes. It is not uncommon to find Paul fishing for a piece of prized sea bass or mackerel, foraging in Ferrycarrig for some wild garlic or in Curracloe for samphire. Their inspiration comes from what is on their doorstep in Wexford and this is reflected in the menus at La Côte.

  • Mae was the name of my late grandmother. She was a wonderful cook, and a huge influence on my life. When I thought about opening my own restaurant, she was at the forefront of my list of inspirations, and I knew very quickly I wanted to name the space after her. The French Paradox was a perfect venue, because the influence on family is huge here too, the building has been passed down generations, and I am honoured that the space has been shared on to me.

An added bonus to this, is mae has access to some of the most incredible wines, direct from vineyards across France with whom the team at The French Paradox has had special relationships with for decades. The menu has been designed with all the above in mind. We want to bring modern, seasonal cooking with superb wine pairings to match. We have an incredibly strong team of front of house, chefs, sommeliers, and suppliers behind us.

As well as this, we have been working with so many hugely talented trades people, designers and creators from across Ireland; from ceramicists, embroiderers, glass blowers, to some of the most skilled and inspiring knife makers in the country.

I wanted to highlight not only the food, wine and talent in the restaurant industry, but also the backbones of it. What makes a restaurant feel special, what makes the guest feel special in that restaurant. Ireland has an abundance of remarkable producers all across the country, and I wanted to bring as many as I could into mae.

I can't wait for you to experience the restaurant for yourselves, and am so looking forward to welcoming you all over the coming weeks, months and years.

  • TRADITIONAL IRISH PUB IN THE HEART OF DUBLIN

O’Connell Street has often been centre-stage in Irish history. Previously known Sackville Street, it formed the backdrop to the great 1913 Dublin Lockout gathering, the 1916 Easter Rising, the Irish Civil War of 1922 and the destruction of Nelson’s Pillar in 1966.

By the end of the 19th Century, Upper Sackville Street had developed into a commercial hub. Bars, restaurants and hotels, many of which are here to this day, began to open for business. Here at Murray’s we have been serving the people of Dublin for over 100 years. Best of all, Grandma Murray’s descendants still run the pub to this day!

We are delighted to reopen on 29th June; however, we are now operating at a reduced capacity. Murray’s Bar highly recommends advance bookings, groups are limited to a maximum of 6 people. Walk-in's are always welcome and we will operate a wait-list.

Our Whiskey Bar is available to make your event an absolute hit with delicious, unique cocktails and superior attention to detail. Whether your party is small and casual or lavish and large, we can accommodate most anything and anywhere.

Our upstair sports bar have massive AV capabilities to cater all your corporate events. We have lots of exciting sports items on all day from opening to close. Check out our Sports Page each day for the most up to date listings.

Our ground floor bar located at the entrance of the building is a beautifully designed space for food & drinks. A great space for a celebration or afterwork drinks.  Serving breakfast, lunch & dinner we take group bookings for food & drinks throughout the day.

Centrally located in the heart of Dublin City, our beer Garden is an oasis in Dublin. On a hot day, it’s the ideal location to relax and unwind after work with our biggest outdoor screen.

At Murrays the menu is always changing, bringing you an ever-evolving array of innovative culinary creations that feature nothing but the finest in premium fresh, local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients.

  • Ne Zha (哪吒) is one of the most iconic figures in Chinese mythology — a fearless, youthful spirit who defied the heavens and reshaped his own destiny. His story is one of bravery, self-determination, and an unwavering desire to be more than what the world expected of him.

At our restaurant, we draw inspiration from that spirit — not in rebellion for rebellion’s sake, but in the belief that tradition can evolve without losing its soul. We are not here to deconstruct or shock. Instead, we take what has stood the test of time and introduce subtle refinements — thoughtful pairings, delicate twists, and modern touches — that elevate without overpowering.

From handcrafted dumplings to refined small plates, our menu reflects a balance of tradition and creativity. It’s our way of honouring the wisdom of the past, while inviting guests to experience the familiar in a new light.

Whether you’re celebrating, gathering, or simply enjoying a quiet meal — you’ll find warmth, depth, and story in every bite.

  • Orwell Road is a casual neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Dublin’s Rathgar, with all the love, effort, and attention to detail you would expect in a fine dining restaurant. We focus on creating beautiful food and a unique atmosphere for our customers. Approaching our cooking with humility and a team mentality, we focus on helping each other grow and learn, together. This philosophy extends throughout the restaurant from the kitchen to our front of house, working together as colleagues and friends to ensure that Orwell Road is a space that respects and adds to our local community.

Guided by head chef Daniel Hannigan, our kitchen uses as many local, Irish ingredients as we can get our hands on, with a clear focus on sustainable sourcing. In creating our menu we have one defining rule: everything must be delicious. Maintaining this simple idea is at the core of everything we do, and we were honoured to be added to the MICHELIN Guide. We want each member of our team to be excited by their day-to-day and we strive to ensure our workplace is a positive and energetic environment. We believe this is an essential ingredient to creating great food in a wonderful atmosphere. The whole team was thrilled to see our hard work rewarded by the Irish Restaurant Awards, which named Orwell Road 'Newcomer of the Year' in 2022.

Respect for the incredible ingredients we use is a fundamental part of our philosophy and approach to how we make food. As a team, we have worked hard to find incredible suppliers who put their heart and soul into growing, making, and raising the ingredients we use. We show respect for our suppliers and their produce by setting out to make every dish we create delicious, whilst avoiding needless waste.

  • Pearl is an award winning fine dining restaurant in Dublin city center.

Our philosophy is simple: good food and comfortable surroundings with friendly, attentive staff.

We serve modern French cuisine in a warm, relaxed environment.

    Our Philosophy

Pearl Brasserie opened its doors on the 7th of December 2000. Our first objective was to build a team with a hunger to learn and a passion for detail. The same hard work is being asked of our Irish and Continental suppliers, so we are able to get the best Irish and French produce on a daily basis.

Culinary ingenuity and skill from the kitchen combines with warm, welcoming, professional service delivering one of Dublin’s premier fine dining experiences.

Pearl Brasserie continues to perform at the top of the game in Dublin. Bon Appetit!

    Awards

    Sebastien Masi, Pearl Brasserie, Dublin

Awarded Chef of the year 2017 in the Georgina Campbell Awards.

Casual dining may still be the big story but fine dining is far from dead – and, regardless of style, the restaurants that are performing best are those led by people like our long established Chef of the Year, who are grounded in classical cooking.

In a town where new restaurants are stealing the limelight every month it’s reassuring to know that some of the long-established gems – like this one, almost hidden from view and beloved by savvy diners for 23 years – are as delightful, and as relevant, as the day they first opened. Luxurious, innovative and sophisticated, it has been known for consistently excellent food since opening in 2000. Everything this owner chef is serving up is top class and, despite being there for many years, he keeps his cooking fresh, on trend, yet very true to his classic roots.

Everything is perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented and a pure pleasure to eat. Quality ingredients, classic techniques and lovely Irish touches make his food a great showcase for Ireland. The full vegetarian menu offered is inspired and the cheese trolley is both traditional and stylish. Furthermore, standards in general have never slipped at this lovely restaurant – staff are impeccably briefed and service is invariably first class.

But the real star is the Frenchman at the helm, whose sophisticated cooking is as exciting, beautiful and relevant as ever – and in many ways it’s even better.

  • Row Wines is the dynamic venture of Marc and Conor Bereen, in the heart of the city with a hip ‘wine, food and vinyl’ proposition. Our aim is to capture the imagination of Dublin’s cultured, well-traveled food and wine aficionados. Inspired by Tokyo’s Japanese style listening bars, the Bereen’s innovative enterprise is centered around natural wines, small plates, and a vinyl listening experience featuring a diverse and extensive music collection.

Our wine list is made up of wines that are either organic, natural, biodynamic, or sustainably made. We want to support those small producers who take the utmost care of the environment when making their grape juice. Indigenous grape varieties, regenerative practices, and avoiding harmful transport emissions are just some of the many aspects of the wine-making process that we have taken into consideration in our selection.

In addition to our wines, we have built a delicious cocktail list, alongside vermouth, Negroni, and beers available on tap.

In keeping with the overall brand, our love of seasonal Irish produce also carries through to the food. The menu at Row features 8–10 plates and snacks that will change regularly. Using fresh, Irish ingredients with a twist we create a fun, approachable menu featuring many of the great cheffing techniques used in our kitchens at Orwell Road and Charlotte Quay. Choose to order one plate with a glass of wine, or a full meal of eight plates.

At Row, the music moves with the evening, playing old classics from Nina Simone, Lee Scratch Perry, and Bob Marley, as well as disco, jazz, and house. Come and check out some gorgeous food, delicious wines, and listen to some groovy tunes.

  • New York City, 1965. A New York City perfume salesman named Alan Stillman walks into a bar located at First Avenue and 63rd Street. His idea was to attract trendy models and stewardesses into the neighborhood by jazzing up this unassuming beer joint. Single-handedly, the perfume man turns this modest location into an instant success. He called it TGI Fridays™.

Built upon a legacy of great food, inventive drinks and big fun, Fridays™ has become a favorite place for friends to congregate together and enjoy a casual dining experience. We have brought the world such famous signature items as our Loaded Potato Skins, Chicken Fingers, Buffalo Wings, our Jack Daniel’s Grill® and classic concoctions like our Signature Margarita and the Ultimate Mudslide. The flips and spins of our ingenius flair bartending have become legendary, not to mention our wait staff’s unstoppable service and never-ending smiles. Today, we have more than 931 TGI Fridays™ in some 60 countries worldwide. And, since every day is Friday at TGI Fridays™ that’s 6,517 Fridays™ every single week.

  • Traditional Irish bar & seafood restaurant in the heart of Howth village

     Great Music~Great Food~ Great Craic

A warm and welcoming interior with an old-fashioned feel, an open turf-burning fireplace, classic signage and interesting bric-a-brac stirring memories of a bygone age… these are just some of the features of “The Bloody Stream”, one of North Dublin’s most atmospheric and popular bars, where the byword is hospitality. Add to this the Mediterranean-style beer garden, live music every weekend and an extensive menu of fresh seafood and other delicacies and you have a special venue indeed.

Located just below the Howth DART station, its live music and late night bar create a real party atmosphere that’s proven a major attraction for locals as well as those travelling from Dublin city centre. In the heart of the picturesque town of Howth and its impressive harbour, The Bloody Stream has plenty of parking nearby and is especially popular among tour groups. It’s the perfect spot for those looking for great food and drink in pleasant surroundings, with that indefinable “craic” usually in evidence for good measure!

Whether you’re a fan of traditional Irish, Jazz, Blues or mainstream popular music The Bloody Stream always has something different to offer, and its beer garden is the perfect place for a summer afternoon’s listening to good sounds and enjoying a drink. The Bloody Stream caters for tour groups visiting Howth, private and corporate parties, and all social and sporting events.

    History of The Bloody Stream

The Bloody Stream is named in honour of The Bloody Stream over which it is built. In August 1177, during the second Norman invasion, a heavy battle took place near here between the forces of Sir Almeric Tristram (said to have been a descendent of one of the knights of King Arthur’s Round Table and whom took over command from Sir John de Courcy on the expedition’s arrival at Howth, who was unable to leave his ship) and the Danes, who were occupying Evora Bridge at that time. Inevitably the fighting produced blood, some of which found its way into the little stream that has been known as “The Bloody Stream” ever since.

  • The Brazen Head is located on Bridge Street. This is the area from where the original settlement that was to become Dublin got its name.

The Irish name for Dublin is Baile Atha Cliath – (pronounced: Ball-ya-Awha-Clia) which means “The Town of the Ford of the Reed Hurdles”.

The Brazen Head is Ireland's oldest pub. In fact there has been a hostelry here since 1198. The present building was built in 1754 as a coaching inn. However The Brazen Head appears in documents as far back as 1653.
