A modern, vibrant and refreshing restaurant in the heart of Blackrock: Ruchii – is the Sanskrit word for taste, which signifies our sensory perception of sight, taste, smell and sound. It also denotes light, luster and beauty.
Our menu reflects the diversity of India steeped in centuries’ old classics with a modern twist while our alluring beverage list focus on the regions that best complement our cuisine. Our service style emphasises hospitality with a smile and “Service before Self” our only mantra.
The result is a vibrant, friendly, mood-enhancing restaurant: full of colour, energy and feel-good factor. Ruchii, is a meeting place for people, who are passionate about their food.
Trained in Indian cuisine by the Grand Masters of the Oberoi Hotel Group, Sateesh Sayana. our chef patron utilises traditional cooking techniques, exotic blend of spices, foraged herbs and locally sourced quality ingredients making his menus truly fit for the royals.

  • Sano simply translates to healthy.

The idea for Sano came about after the MacHugh twin brothers visited Naples. All pizzas in Naples are made the Neapolitan way, using sourdough for the base, and cooked in traditional stone ovens at 500 degrees. Not only were these pizzas delicious, they had the added benefit of a much lower salt content, a lot less than the traditional pizza bases we are all used to. The other thing that struck the twins was how affordable the pizzas were – everywhere they went in Naples, the pizzerias were jammed packed with friends & families, all out enjoying fine food at affordable prices. Thereafter they set off to open a Neapolitan pizzeria in Dublin, sourced traditional stone ovens and purchased two direct from the manufacturer in the heart of Naples. Not long after, they found a suitable site and transformed it into Sano Pizza.

Their goal is to serve the customers the finest Neapolitan Pizzas, at an affordable cost, along with competitive cost for drinks, sides and desserts, ensuring everyone can afford to visit and enjoy Sano.

At Sano Pizza our Neapolitan Pizza is a softer style pizza, its chewy crusts and delicious flavours make is stand out from the crowd. Our dough is made on site daily using only 4 ingredients: flour, water, salt and yeast, and fermented for a minimum of 48 hours. Our pizzas are then stretched by hand, topped with authentic Italian ingredients and cooked for less than 90 seconds at 500°c in our beautiful ovens, all the way from Naples.

  • Sfuso, meaning ‘unpackaged’ is an expression of our passion for Italian cuisine in challenging times. A popular restaurant in Dublin’s Italian Quarter resumes operations as a purveyor of ready-to-eat meals in the finest tradition of Italian gastronomy.

Instead of table service we’ll be offering products by weight to suit your appetite. The good news is that you can still enjoy a social glass of wine – with space for social distancing outside – before bringing your delicacies home in biodegradable containers; or to the park for an Italian-inspired picnic as long as the sun keeps shining!

Here we are returning to our “origins”, emphasising seasonal ingredients sourced from a network of artisanal producers with whom we have long-standing relationships. This simplicity is the signature of our great Italian food.

  • Housed in a charming stone cottage which dates in part from 1700, The Washerwoman is a neighbourhood restaurant but perfect for a special occasion or a casual dining experience.
Located only a few minutes walk from The National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin Cemetery Museum & Tours and Glasnevin Trust Walking Tours.
Given the locale and the fact that we welcome families, there are exciting, healthy and accessible foods for kids (plus some little quirks to keep them interested, engaged and most importantly, occupied!), a host of diner classics, and a particularly extensive steak selection. We are working with some of our favourite craft butchers to create our own aging room and source some amazing salt-aged meats.
Brunch and Sunday roast at The Washerwoman has become a northside institution. Weekday mornings and lunchtimes, take advantage of our in-house Woollen Mills bakery delights, re-creating some of those tasty Mills sandwiches to eat-in or take-out, and creating a hub for the local community to meet, drink, eat and be merry!

  •  The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. To this end, we hope that The Woollen Mills be quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale.
We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a serious coffee and bun, a serious plate of Irish ham and chips, a place to take home a box of salads and scones, sourdough and sausage rolls, or sit with seven courses of anchovies and crab and herrings and pork and beef rib, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge and Liffey with a fine bottle of red. Or a craft beer!
The building is over four floors and is (almost) literally on top of the bridge, with double aspect windows and a roof terrace onto the ultimate Dublin cityscape. It is truly magical and so so special. We have our own bakery and will have a large retail and take-out emphasis, so passing folk can buy our breads, pastries and cakes, as well as choose from a huge sandwich and salad selection during the day. If you sit long enough, you will see at least one person you know!

  • At The Yarn we wanted our pizzas to be a little easier to share, a little easier to pick up (as you wander onto the roof with a cocktail) and a little crisper.

We didn't want a base quite as crispy as a Roma pie and so, after Ian Connolly, our executive chef returned from a stint training in a pizza academy in Lazio, along with his chief pizza maker, we realised the style we were after was an 'Italiano' base - softer than a Roma, but cooked at the same temperature, with a Neapolitan style crust. The closest in style would be a New York pizza which was brought from Napoli and adapted to American tastes, so as to create a pick-able up-able slice.

The toppings are inspired by Ian's trip to Lazio but with lots of Irish & American influences also.

We cater for all events, big and small. Intimate and, well, LARGE. We can host your Opening, Product Launch, Staff Party, Wedding, Wedding After-Party, Birthday, Hen or Divorce Party.

Whatever your event, talk to us and we'll try to look after you, tailoring a menu to suit. We can also run a cash bar if your budget doesn't stretch to covering your booze-hound mates!
