    Launch of Preston’s Restaurant At Bellinter House Hotel & Spa,

    A new restaurant offering is to open at Bellinter House Hotel & Spa this March, creating an elegant and stylish dining space, called Preston’s. Preston’s  restaurant is located in the Main House on the lower floor, and is decorated in shades of warm deep blue velvets  and greys, with brass accents, custom-built panelling, statement lights, and beautiful bronze mirrors that reflect the light.

    While the dining setting may have changed, the distinct flavours on the menu remain at the same high standard as always. Customers can enjoy starters like, Listoke Gin Cured Salmon, with Horseradish Mousseline, Watercress & Radish, €14.50, and tasty main course dishes such as,  Andarl Farm Free Range Pork Belly, with Smoked Irish Black Pudding Mash, Celeriac Puree & Pickled Orchard Apples €23.50. Curated dishes that are guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds. With a love of locally sourced and fresh produce, our talented Chef Stephane Moreau takes dining to the next level. 

    The menu is complemented by its tastefully  chosen wine list, wines like Auntsfield Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, this beautifully handcrafted wine, offers scents of passion fruit and citrus flavours , and the Cedro, Fattoria Lavacchio, Chianti is ripe plum in colour and has a lot of earthy mineral aromas and flavours. Bellinter House is recognized for its exceptionally high standards in culinary excellence and consistently awarded the 2AA Rosette.

    Opening Hours

    Breakfast is served in Preston’s from 8 am until 11 am Monday to Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holiday Monday.

    Dinner is served from 6.00 pm until 9.00 pm Sunday to Thursday and until 9.30 pm Friday & Saturday.

    Private lunches for groups can also be booked on request at Bellinter House.

    The Drawing Room Day menu is served from 11.00am to 6.00pm daily. The Drawing Room Evening menu is served midweek from 6.00pm to 9.00pm (Sun- Thurs), and until 9.30pm at weekends (Fri- & Sat). Reservations are not necessary for the Drawing Room.

    Afternoon Tea is served in the Library, Drawing Room or Eden Restaurant. Reservations are necessary for Afternoon Tea.

    We exist to make you feel good - whatever that looks like to you. At Camile we try to bridge the gap between treat days and tracking days, catering to vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, and omnivore diets. We've got certified nutritional information if you’re after that, and we're even on MyFitnessPal. Keep eye out for free yoga classes, cookery demos, and other events in your area.

    Our delicious food is the seed that lets everything else blossom. We make sauces from scratch and use locally grown grass fed Irish beef and pork, as well as local vegetables and herbs when in season. These help the environment – and they also taste better! The food we make allows us to reach our sustainability and local community goals.

    We started with one restaurant and grew one store at a time. We feel aligned with these local communities, which is why we want to raise awareness about how you order delivery.   • Indulge Yourself with Time Spent at The Johnstown Estate

    The Georgian doors of this listed 18th century rural residence open up to a haven of four-star comfort, luxury, warm service, great food, and lots of lovely ways to relax.

    We have two different but equally delightful restaurants: Fire & Salt and The Coach House Brasserie. We also have a number of private dining rooms decorated in a manner befitting their location, perfect for a special occasion. Afternoon Tea is available in our spacious, airy Atrium while Parterre, our gorgeous new garden terrace cocktail bar, serves carefully crafted cocktails and light bites.

    Accommodation is in tastefully designed and relaxing guest rooms and self-catering lodges while the Estate is also home to an award-winning, divinely tranquil destination spa.

    We are independently owned, and in lots of little ways – from the warmth of our team to our continual investment in The Estate – we like to think this shows.

    Fire & Salt Restaurant

    Fire & Salt offers relaxed, fine dining in a sophisticated, contemporary space. Our menu features the finest meats, fish, dairy, vegetarian and vegan dishes for all tastes and appetites. Signature dishes include hand-picked beef, dry-aged for up to 36 days in Himalayan sea-salt – our name derives from the fire which seals and caramelises the steak and the salt which seasons it.

    Every dish is thoughtfully designed and matched with tempting sauces, crisp fresh vegetables, and various potato sides.

    Topping off a memorable meal, our desserts are skilfully constructed and beautifully decorated by our very talented pastry chef. They are almost too good to eat … but only if you have the willpower to resist.

    Finally, our wine list is both varied and accessible. We have classic favourites mixed in with a few premium wines and one or two unusual finds for the buffs amongst us.

    The Coach House Brasserie

    Instantly feel at home in the Coach House Brasserie with its booth-seating and roaring fire in Kitty’s Corner. Upstairs, The Loft offers a more refined brasserie-style experience, and when the sun shines, a new, spacious, outdoor terrace to the front of The Coach House seats 50 people in airy, heated comfort.

    The menu at The Coach House includes both casual, modern dishes and traditional, hearty crowd pleasers.

    Pair your meal with a drink from the full bar menu, a signature cocktail or select from a wine list designed to match and enhance the menu.

    The Johnstown Estate’s welcomes you to Parterre, a captivating garden terrace cocktail bar serving impeccable cocktails amidst natural beauty.

    Parterre stands undeniably elegant, a modern glass botanical oasis cleverly designed with a retractable roof, effortlessly transforming the atmosphere from the bright and airy embrace of daylight to the enchanting allure of the evening. This sophisticated space is perfect for casual daytime or evening cocktails and light bites in all seasons.

    Afternoon Tea in The Atrium

    What better pastime than people-watching in a hotel lobby? Relax in soft velvet wing-back chairs, in a space featuring bespoke carpet and original Irish art, bathed in light from the double-height windows and glass ceiling. The Atrium is a place of spacious comfort. It’s a place to talk business, read, savour Afternoon Tea or enjoy a cocktail… all in peaceful contentment.

    There’s nothing quite like a good Sunday lunch, and Jules Restaurant offers the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely afternoon lunch. Available every Sunday from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, the menu features the finest seasonal produce from the Boyne Valley and beyond. From classic roast sirloin of beef with homemade Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings to lighter mains like fillet of salmon, there is something to suit every taste. And, of course, don’t forget to save room for the irresistible desserts, including warm chocolate fondant and raspberry roulade.
