Aqua Restaurant offers a truly unique dining experience.
Travel just 25 minutes outside of Dublin City Centre or from Dublin Airport to discover Howth, a picturesque fishing village. The harbour offers a gorgeous respite from the City hustle and bustle during the day, and at night is lit up with returning fishing boats delivering their catch to local restaurants.
Aqua sits at the very end of the West Pier in the first floor of a building that in a former life belonged to Howth Sailing Club. From the dining area you can enjoy through floor to ceiling windows, the panoramic view across Howth sound to the island of Ireland’s Eye, a magical island both visually and historically. The views are truly legendary and mentioned often in reviews of Aqua! From the east facing windows of the restaurant the full splendour of the harbour, the marina, and the working fishing pier can be enjoyed.
The bar at Aqua is cosy, with deep window-seats and black-framed charcoal drawings by local artists. It is a true haven to enjoy a pre or post dining drink. The only challenge is to rise from the couches and continue on your journey! We look forward to welcoming you to Aqua at our home in Howth!

Bewley’s Grafton Street, one of Dublin’s most iconic and celebrated landmarks, has reopened its doors. Following a multi-million-euro refurbishment, the much-loved café has been restored to create a bigger, brighter and better-than- ever customer experience.
As well as serving the very best coffees and teas, many elements of the original café have been carefully restored including the Harry Clarke windows, the historic front façade of the café and the open fireplaces. There are also many new additions to the café including the complete refurbishment of Johnson’s Court and an expanded in-café bakery which allows visitors to see some of Europe’s finest pastry chefs and bakers create the unique and delicious treats on offer, including the beautiful Bewley’s Café Gourmand, Coffee Opera Cake and, original favourite, the Bewley’s Mary Cake.
“Bewley’s is the heart and the hearth of Dublin. There is a sense in which Dubliners behave like a large, sometimes unruly family; and walking into Bewley’s never fails to give me the feeling that I am stepping into a home… The atmosphere is full of a lovely rattling music made up of cups and chatter, gossip and laughter, watchful eyes and gadabout tongues.” – Brendan Kennelly
For over 175 years Bewley’s has had a special place in the hearts of Dubliners. Founded in 1840, Bewley’s is Ireland’s leading coffee and tea company. We’ve been perfecting the craft of tea and coffee making for many generations, from our humble beginnings in a little shop on Sycamore Alley in Dublin, Ireland, to the home and heart of our brand here in Bewley’s Grafton Street, and right through to our world-class coffee, roastery and tea blending facilities in North County Dublin, as well as in the United Kingdom and the United States.
Bewley’s Grafton Street is now open with space to accommodate for up to 500 customers.

At brasserie sixty6 our aim is to bring an innovative accessible menu of the highest quality food and an expertly chosen wine list to our diners in funky, stylish surroundings, all at a reasonable cost to you.
And we take our food very very seriously. All our food – everything – is cooked to order. And our expert chefs use only the finest ingredients, sourced locally from the most reputable butchers, fishmongers, green grocers, artisan bakers, and internationally from carefully sourced specialist food suppliers.
Our beef is hung for 21 days for optimum flavour and tenderness, while our poultry are reared on only natural foods, and our fish and seafood is bought fresh – every single day – from the markets. Our vegetables come fresh from the markets daily, and are washed and prepared by us in our kitchens.
And that’s why our rib eyes, our homemade sausages, our calamari, our succulent chickens, our monkfish, our Alfredos, our risottos, our homemade chips, our salsas, (to name just a few!) all taste so good.
Our guarantee to you: brasserie sixty6 uses only the finest and freshest ingredients in the preparation of our food.
The difference is on the plate.

The Big Table provides a unique group dining opportunity for The Strawberry Tree Brigade to prepare Foods and a Menu that simply cannot be served in a normal restaurant setting, presented on a single table that can stretch from 8 to 44 people.

Guests are encouraged to help serve the person on both sides of them, helping to add to the conviviality and atmosphere of the table.
After enjoying The Strawberry Tree dessert plate, guests can help themselves to some wonderful Organic Cheeses, which are kept at perfect temperature in our Wild Foods Pantry.
Even the menu is presented in a different style in that rather than the recipe been highlighted, it is the supplier, farmer or artisan producer that is named and acknowledged.

BuJo Burger Joint, neighborhood burger joint on Sandymount Green. Grass fed chargrilled burgers is our thing...Follow us on our better burger adventures.
"Sandymount is actually an inspired choice as besides being one of the most desirable places to live in the country thanks to its proximity to the beach and the city, it retains a self contained sleepy air, helped by the fact that it is not a place people drive through like Ranelagh or Rathmines.
BuJo is a long diner style restaurant with booths, stools and chairs and attracts a young crowd so inevitably the music on the tannoy was upbeat dance music, ‘techno-lite’ would be my best attempt at a definition but surprisingly I barely noticed as the sound of happy diners all around faded the muzac into the background.
There are no waiters in BuJo so once you have placed your order at the counter you take a seat with a nifty little electronic device that buzzes and bounces around the table to alert you when your order is ready.
The standard BuJo burger costs €8 and is thankfully a rather joyously simple affair with two beef patties, cheese, pickles, BuJo sauce in a brioche bun with the option to add tomatoes, extra cheese or bacon. The bread holds, the meat is beefy and juicy with just enough texture, the fillings are balanced and well judged.
The summer special Piquanté Burger (€10) with Cooleeney farm Tipperary Brie, charred baby gem lettuce, beechwood smoked rare breed bacon, Sriracha Mayonnaise, and Piquanté cherry peppers was arguably even better with just enough spice and a big punch of added character from the bacon to elevate it further.
Best of all was how the Piquanté matched with the seasonal beer — a Ranchero Smoked Ale from Wicklow Wolf.
Malted barley for the beer was smoked over beechwood giving the beer a distinct smoky bacon flavour balanced with a rich maltiness and good balance from the hops.
Staff were cheery and pleasant and the atmosphere is enjoyable and convivial and the burgers are excellent, every suburb should have a BuJo."

One of the brightest gems on the Dublin dining scene, Dunne & Crescenzi offers the most authentic Italian experience. The charming Italian staff - from the baristas to the chefs, prepare dishes using the highest quality produce – both Italian artisan ingredients and local produce in support of Irish farmers. They also offer a carefully selected wine list with over 150 labels from all over Italy.
The owners, Eileen and Stefano, first met in Rome and their passion for Italian food, wine and culture carried them over to Dublin. This passion really shines through in their menus, which include fillet of Gilligan’s Irish Hereford beef with rocket pesto and Grana Trentino petals, as well as Panzerotti ravioli with ricotta & spinach with cherry tomato confit and Grana Trentino DOP fonduta. The seafood at Dunne & Crescenzi is also a real winner - try the monkfish from Doran’s with tomatoes, olives, caper crumbs and fresh spinach leaves.
With a number of locations throughout Dublin and a restaurant in Kildare Retail Village, pay a visit to Dunne & Crescenzi to experience for yourself the welcoming atmosphere and taste the food that, according to food writer Tom Doorley, “changed the way the Irish eat”.
