Rascals HQ in Dublin is a visitor destination for food and drink lovers, just minutes from Kilmainham Gaol in the heart of historic Inchicore. The premises houses the award-winning independent craft brewery Rascals Brewing Co, as well as a pizza restaurant, bar and off-licence. Rascals HQ also gives guided tours of its brewery with an opportunity to taste the beer – and pizza of course – in the brewery’s specially designed taproom. Rascals Brewing was founded in 2014 by Emma Devlin and Cathal O’Donoghue. The pair were living and working in New Zealand and developed a taste and passion for the booming Kiwi craft beer industry. In the spirit of adventure, they decided to change careers entirely and set up their own craft brewery back home in Dublin.
Visitors to their Inchicore premises can exclusively taste all the new specialty brews, which will be pouring straight from tank to tap. Rotating taps mean a very wide choice of beer is always available, as fresh as it could possibly be. The option of wine, cider, spirits and non-alcoholic beer also exists. The pizza restaurant serves up delicious food from 4pm Monday to Friday, and from 1pm at weekends, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Rascals HQ is family friendly too, with a changing area and high chairs. Awards include gold medal winners at the 2016, 2020 and 2021 World Beer Awards, 2022 McKennas’ Guides Best In Ireland, 2021 Travel & Hospitality Awards Dublin Culture Experience of the Year, 2020 Trip Advisor Travellers’ Choice.
For visitors who want an authentic and immersive food and drink experience, in an historic part of Dublin, Rascals HQ is a must-visit.
