Ashton’s is a local gastropub and event space located on the banks of the River Dodder in the heart of Clonskeagh and only ten minutes from Ranelagh village. This landmark pub dates back to the late 1980’s but has since been renovated to a popular suburban venue

Split over two levels, Ashton’s encompasses a large open bar and dining room, a dedicated event space on the lower ground floor, and two terraces overlooking the river. Ashton’s dog friendly garden terraces have breath-taking views overlooking the River Dodder, with ample seating and an outdoor bar and BBQ. The terrace houses Dublin’s largest outdoor screen making Ashton’s the perfect place to be on match days.

Ashton’s offer a variety of food options, from carvery lunch to a la carte dinner and weekend brunch coming soon. Ashton’s has been serving its famous carvery for over 30 years and it is now available 7 days a week: Mon-Fri 12pm-2:30pm and Sat & Sun 12pm-4pm. At weekends we also serve a delicious snack menu that really suits the vibe of the terrace and we recently launched our brand-new main menu.

The wide and diverse menu means all tastes are catered for, even the little ones with our dedicated kid’s menu. The restaurant prides itself on using top quality ingredients, all freshly cooked to order by our kitchen team. At Ashton’s we source our food and drink carefully in order to provide our customers with high quality, fresh and sustainable products. Food is served seven days a week.
