  • The world famous Shelbourne is a timeless landmark in the heart of Dublin.

Overlooking the magnificent St. Stephen's Green, it is only a few minutes walk from Dublin's most famous landmarks as well as the key shopping and cultural areas of the city. The connection to Ireland's capital runs far deeper than just location.

Founded in 1824, The Shelbourne is a place where history has been made, the Irish Constitution was drafted, literary masterpieces were penned and society was shaped. This outstanding hotel has been dramatically restored to its full original splendor in recent years. Take time to write your chapter in this iconic properties extensive history.

    The Saddle Room

The Saddle Room encompasses the cherished traditions of dining at The Shelbourne, developed over generations. Reassuringly timeless, with an atmosphere of grandeur and comfort, it strikes a balance between formality and relaxation. A lavish menu inspired by the classics and served with all the theatre and flourish of old-school Irish service.

A lavish cheese trolley. A pre-ordered roast of black leg chicken for two. A sumptuously traditional Beef Wellington carved table side. Dining in The Saddle Room is what The Shelbourne has always been designed with the guest's enjoyment first and foremost in mind.

Executive Head Chef Garry Hughes and his devoted team have created a series of seasonal menus which pay homage to the grand culinary history of The Shelbourne and celebrate the most spectacular and delicious local produce of Ireland.

Capable of seating up to twenty guests, The Saddle Room's private dining rooms offer all the comfort, style and old-world service of The Saddle Room but in an intimate and private setting.

    The Lord Mayor's Lounge

Luxurious, lovingly restored, and sparkling with light, Ireland's most historic drawing room looks out over the grandeur of St. Stephen's Green. From bright morning meetings and the cherished traditions of Afternoon Tea to dinner and drinks for residents late into the evening, The Lord Mayor's Lounge is a quietly opulent space designed for delight.

    No. 27 Bar & Lounge

The social capital of the Irish capital and the beating heart of the hotel, where Dublin society gathers to raise a glass and raise their spirits. Sparkling cocktails and precise pints served with style. A menu of elevated bar classics and fresh Irish seafood served with casual elegance. No.27 Bar & Lounge is the place to see and be seen.

    The Horseshoe Bar

A distinctive Dublin treasure. A warm and intimate bar for a perfect pint of plain, a beloved local whiskey or a well-built martini. The atmospheric Horseshoe Bar is a destination, an institution and a living history of Irish society. Hosting Ireland's most fascinating characters since 1957.

    1824 Bar

If The Shelbourne itself had a snug, this might just be it. A luxe, intimate, and sophisticated atmosphere with low lights, rich wood panelling, and a host with the arcane knowledge to navigate 1824's vast hand-picked list of top-shelf whiskey, Champagne, wine, and premium cocktails.

    The Terrace

A hidden, unexpected and enchanting open-air space within the hotel which blurs the distinction between indoors and out. The Terrace is sheltered from the elements but open to the sky, with broad canopies, heaters, and an open fireplace to extend the season. • When The Winding Stair opened its door, as a restaurant, in August 2006, Dubliners flocked to see what all the fuss was about. Here was a restaurant serving simple, homecooked and most importantly all Irish food in a little room overlooking the river Liffey.

A gastro-pub style of cuisine but using only seasonal Irish produce where possible and an army of well-trained friendly staff who were ready to explain this ethos to the diners. The room itself is always buzzing.

The venue had occupied a special place in Dubliner’s hearts, having been a famous landmark bookshop and café for many years and photographs of its famous visitors line the entrance to the bathrooms.

For a truly urban view over the river Liffey and the finest examples of Irish produce treated with care and respect, there is no better place than the quirky Winding Stair. It’s always busy so book early to avoid disappointment!

  •  The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. To this end, we hope that The Woollen Mills be quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale.
We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a serious coffee and bun, a serious plate of Irish ham and chips, a place to take home a box of salads and scones, sourdough and sausage rolls, or sit with seven courses of anchovies and crab and herrings and pork and beef rib, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge and Liffey with a fine bottle of red. Or a craft beer!
The building is over four floors and is (almost) literally on top of the bridge, with double aspect windows and a roof terrace onto the ultimate Dublin cityscape. It is truly magical and so so special. We have our own bakery and will have a large retail and take-out emphasis, so passing folk can buy our breads, pastries and cakes, as well as choose from a huge sandwich and salad selection during the day. If you sit long enough, you will see at least one person you know!

  • At The Yarn we wanted our pizzas to be a little easier to share, a little easier to pick up (as you wander onto the roof with a cocktail) and a little crisper.

We didn't want a base quite as crispy as a Roma pie and so, after Ian Connolly, our executive chef returned from a stint training in a pizza academy in Lazio, along with his chief pizza maker, we realised the style we were after was an 'Italiano' base - softer than a Roma, but cooked at the same temperature, with a Neapolitan style crust. The closest in style would be a New York pizza which was brought from Napoli and adapted to American tastes, so as to create a pick-able up-able slice.

The toppings are inspired by Ian's trip to Lazio but with lots of Irish & American influences also.

We cater for all events, big and small. Intimate and, well, LARGE. We can host your Opening, Product Launch, Staff Party, Wedding, Wedding After-Party, Birthday, Hen or Divorce Party.

Whatever your event, talk to us and we'll try to look after you, tailoring a menu to suit. We can also run a cash bar if your budget doesn't stretch to covering your booze-hound mates!

  • Tom’s Table @ the Red Cow Moran Hotel

Every detail of the design of this new restaurant has been carefully thought-out. The centrepiece is a family kitchen table and this sets the tone for the whole restaurant: It’s all about conversation, family values, laughter, good food, setting the world to rights and just great fun.

The Red Cow Moran Hotel is a family owned hotel. The founder, Tom Moran, comes from a large family and in his home the kitchen table has always been at the very heart of family life. That table, in his home, inspired this table, in this restaurant and that’s why it is called Tom’s Table. In fact, the original table still sits today in Tom’s family home in Athea, West Limerick. He built it himself as a young apprentice carpenter and to him it represents family, tradition, comfort, community and the pleasures of sharing a good meal and great memories.

The focus from head chef Brian McCarthy and his team is on providing great food sourced as locally as possible with a particular emphasis, fittingly for the Red Cow, on excellent steaks with a signature ‘Bull’ Hayes Irish Hereford ribeye from Limerick just like the great man himself. The menus reflect this open, honest, wholesome, natural family way too. So you’ll find steaks, chicken, salmon, duck, pork, shellfish and seafood, all sourced from producers all over Ireland, known and trusted suppliers. Everything used is seasonal, locally produced and fresh, prepared by hand and cooked to order.

Bright, warm and atmospheric, the materials, wall treatments and finishes used throughout Tom’s Table pay gentle respect to the countryside origins of the hotel owner. Using simple painted brick, classic terracotta and mosaic tiles, along with aged leather and polished wood, there is a sense of the patina of history despite this being a fresh new restaurant concept.

The bright and comfortable space, flooded with light from floor to ceiling windows on two sides, has cosy booths, banquettes and upholstered chairs in rich-toned leather. Comfort and style are equally important, and the room is beautifully lit with golden pools of light from the feature pendant lamps reflected and multiplied by the mirror panels behind the banquettes.

Toscana Italian restaurant is located in the heart of the most historic part of the City Centre and on the edge of the Temple bar district, opposite Dublin Castle, close to Christchurch cathederal, it has become an icon for locals and pre-theatre diners and voted top 10 best Italian restaurants by Lovin Dublin.

Our food is simply prepared at the right price and using as much of our home-grown produce that we grow at our family farm in Co. Wicklow. The farm-house gardens are in integral part of Toscana’s philosophy towards cooking at our popular Dublin restaurant, and we believe that our customers should eat as well as we do at home. Avoiding nasty sprays, we grow our own seasonal organic fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs and pick fresh daily for our restaurant in the heart of Dublin City Centre. We pride ourselves on honest seasonal vegetables packed with nutrients. “Our aim is to bring the spirit of the Mediterranean lifestyle into our busy city kitchens, elevating simple Italian traditions into flavours our customers return for. Having grown up ourselves on a Mediterranean diet and picking our breakfast from our Father's gardens I feel great pleasure combining the fertile Irish soil with the rich heritage of classic and modern Italian cuisine”. Says Vetoni, Toscana's Chef/Proprietor.

Ideally located near Vicar Street, Gaiety and Tivoli theatres, and so near to the Olympia Theatre in Dublin. So whether it's a leisurely lunch, Early Bird/Pre theatre dinner in Dublin or an atmospheric evening with family or friends, if you wish to combine a real trattoria feel with a warm friendly atmosphere, in one of the best Italian restaurants in Dublin then Toscana is a must!

We’ve created our intimate home in a stunning, vaulted 19th century warehouse space in the CHQ Building. Our venue is a mix of offerings that is inspired by travels and journeys of our own and suits any occasion. A briefly detailed outline is shared below.

Urban Brewing and Hop Garden Terrace

Our most social, informal and vibrant space with its own dedicated open kitchen, crafting an array of international tapas style dishes and substantial raciones, and a fantastic drinks selection with over 200 beers -some of them brewed on-site, more than 100 wines, as well as very selective spirits and inventive cocktails.

Our large Hop Garden Terrace, fully heated and covered, is an ideal all year-round spot to enjoy a drink, bite, or coffee. Think of an oasis and a suntrap at the same time.

    Stack A Restaurant

Located in our 200-year-old vaults, an architectural masterpiece in its own right, Stack A is a smart casual restaurant suited to intimate small tables, social gatherings or larger groups up to 300+ guests. Due to the layout of the vaults, each separated by a wonderful wall of brick and stone, it makes for an unrivalled atmosphere and setting. Serving both lunch and dinner, group menus, canapes and a lot more, it is a unique space to bring your relatives, friends or clients.

Stack A Restaurant is temporarily closed and will be reopening in Autumn.

    Tours and tastings, Brewmasters’ Table

With the first of its kind brewery in Ireland, we are well suited to offer a variety of brewery tour packages and tastings, including beer and food pairing experiences. These can be organised in advance and a highlight we are really proud of. During these tours you get to immerse yourself in the brewing process, taste whichever beers we are pouring at the moment, and meet the brewers for a more in depth and approachable chat.

Our tours are currently unavailable and will be back soon.
