Calling all ‘seafoodies’ to join the Storehouse Seafest celebration – showcasing sensational seafood and the best of brewing
This autumn, Guinness Storehouse invites you to experience Guinness Storehouse Seafest – a three-month festival and supper club series devoted to Ireland’s world-famous seafood and its synonymous relationship with Guinness.
During the festival, visitors to the Storehouse will have the opportunity to taste specially-curated seafood dishes in the renowned 1837 restaurant, including a Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Ancient East showcase dish. A must-try for all seafoodies is the pop-up oyster shucking stations each Saturday, where a complimentary taster of the brand-new Storehouse Seafest Stout will be available alongside the very best of Irish oysters.
Furthermore, every Saturday in autumn, visitors can sample complimentary Guinness-blackened smoked salmon canapes and a unique StorehouseSeafest stout.
The Guinness Storehouse will also host monthly Seafest Supper Clubs for the duration of the festival, held on Friday 27th September; Friday 11th October and Friday 8th November. Guinness Storehouse award-winning Head Chef, Sean Hunter, will bring the taste of the sea to the city, preparing a seafood feast like no other for guests to enjoy. Guinness Storehouse are also thrilled to reveal Niall Sabongi of Klaw as Supper Club collaborator, bringing a pop-up crab shack to the event and serving crab three ways as part of the evening. Expert Guinness beer sommelier Ian Colgan will serve unique beer pairings for each of the dishes.
These three spectacular supper club events provide a unique opportunity to experience a seafood feast at the Home of Guinness together with specially-brewed pairings. Local seasonal ingredients will take centre stage and guests will enjoy the likes of flame-kissed oysters, garlic drizzled shellfish, and many more. The Guinness Storehouse Seafest is part of Taste the Island campaign by Fáilte Ireland, showcasing the very best of Ireland’s food and drink culture.
Guinness Storehouse Seafest takes place on from 7 September until 30 November.
