Devoted entirely to food, AVOCA Ballsbridge takes customers on an experiential gastronomic journey with its extensive offering. The inclusion of a pop-up food concept counter keeps the store’s offering fresh, innovative and relevant and AVOCA is delighted to unveil its latest resident, chef Niall Sabongi with Sustainable Seafood Ireland

Sustainable Seafood Ireland provides freshly caught fish that is in season, focusing primarily on domestic and wild caught seafood, they offer a variety of both finfish & shellfish, as well as specialty smoked and cured fish. They believe in customers knowing where their fish comes from so they can enjoy it with confidence. Sourcing their seafood off the East coast of Ireland from a close network of purveyors and fishermen that are using world-class standards, helps to ensure transparency at every step, from the waters the fish are harvested in, and the catch method, to the small independent boat and skippers that they work with.

With the space becoming home to different food concessions every few months, AVOCA’s aim is to support local and sustainable food businesses while engaging with emerging food trends. Sustainable Seafood Ireland will take the space to provide AVOCA customers with freshly caught fish each day and a range of finfish, shellfish and smoked fish items. All fish for sale will have the name of the fisherman and boat it was caught from, all of whom are dedicated and passionate about their craft and providing the best in Irish seafood.
